«Базальт СПО» – разработчик российских операционных систем «Альт», которые позволяют создавать ИТ-инфраструктуры любого масштаба. ОС «Альт» включены в Единый реестр российского ПО. В состав дистрибутива каждой ОС входит набор прикладного программного обеспечения для решения бизнес-задач организации. В основе решений «Базальт СПО» - собственная технологическая инфраструктура, включающая независимый репозиторий свободных программ «Сизиф» (Sisyphus) и инфраструктуру распределенной разработки. «Сизиф» находится в российской юрисдикции и является одним из крупнейших в мире наряду с репозиториями Debian, Red Hat и SUSE. Благодаря собственным технологиям «Базальт СПО» разрабатывает не клоны (деривативы) зарубежных ОС, а самостоятельные российские операционные системы. При этом специалисты компании интегрированы в ключевые международные проекты разработки свободных программ, их код есть в ядре Linux, в основных системных библиотеках и других ключевых компонентах свободного ПО. Операционные системы «Альт» работают на девяти аппаратных платформах, в том числе – на основных российских. ОС «Альт» внедрены и поддерживаются партнерами компании на коммерческих предприятиях и в госсекторе на сотнях тысяч компьютеров по всей России. С ними совместимо значительное число прикладных программ из Единого реестра. «Базальт СПО» входит в НП РУССОФТ, АРПП «Отечественный софт», Ассоциацию документальной электросвязи.
Basealt SPO is the developer of "ALT" Russian operating systems, which allow for creating IT infrastructures of any scale. "ALT" operating systems are included into the Uniform Register of Russian Software. The distribution kit of each operating system includes application software designed for solving the business tasks of an organization. Solutions by Basealt SPO are based on its own technological infrastructure, which includes Sisyphus, an independent repository of free software, and a framework for distributed development. Sisyphus is within the Russian jurisdiction. It is one of the largest repositories in the world, along with the Debian, Red Hat and SUSE repositories. Due to having its own technologies, Basealt SPO develops not clones (derivatives) of foreign operating systems, but independent Russian operating systems. At that, the company's specialists are integrated into the key international free software development projects. Their code is present in the Linux kernel, in the main system libraries and in other key free software components. "ALT" operating systems support nine hardware platforms, including the main Russian ones. "ALT" operating systems are implemented and maintained by the company's partners on hundreds of thousands of computers at commercial and state enterprises all across Russia. A large number of application software products from the Uniform Register are compatible with them. Basealt SPO is a member of the "RUSSOFT" Non-Commercial Partnership, the "Otechestvenny Soft" ("Domestic Software") Russian Soft Developers Association, the Russian Association for Networks and Services.
