78efe21b6f drm/sched: Allow using a dedicated workqueue for the timeout/fault tdr
Mali Midgard/Bifrost GPUs have 3 hardware queues but only a global GPU
reset. This leads to extra complexity when we need to synchronize timeout
works with the reset work. One solution to address that is to have an
ordered workqueue at the driver level that will be used by the different
schedulers to queue their timeout work. Thanks to the serialization
provided by the ordered workqueue we are guaranteed that timeout
handlers are executed sequentially, and can thus easily reset the GPU
from the timeout handler without extra synchronization.

v5:
* Add a new paragraph to the timedout_job() method

v3:
* New patch

v4:
* Actually use the timeout_wq to queue the timeout work

4bfdd2aa67 drm/etnaviv: rework linear window offset calculation
The current calculation based on the required_dma mask can be significantly
off, so that the linear window only overlaps a small part of the DRAM
address space. This can lead to the command buffer being unmappable, which
is obviously bad.

Rework the linear window offset calculation to be based on the command buffer
physical address, making sure that the command buffer is always mappable.

cd5297b085 drm/etnaviv: Use FOLL_FORCE for userptr
Nothing checks userptr.ro except this call to pup_fast, which means
there's nothing actually preventing userspace from writing to this.
Which means you can just read-only mmap any file you want, userptr it
and then write to it with the gpu. Not good.

The right way to handle this is FOLL_WRITE | FOLL_FORCE, which will
break any COW mappings and update tracking for MAY_WRITE mappings so
there's no exploit and the vm isn't confused about what's going on.
For any legit use case there's no difference from what userspace can
observe and do.

a6a1f036c7 drm/scheduler: Job timeout handler returns status (v3)
This patch does not change current behaviour.

The driver's job timeout handler now returns
status indicating back to the DRM layer whether
the device (GPU) is no longer available, such as
after it's been unplugged, or whether all is
normal, i.e. current behaviour.

All drivers which make use of the
drm_sched_backend_ops' .timedout_job() callback
have been accordingly renamed and return the
would've-been default value of
DRM_GPU_SCHED_STAT_NOMINAL to restart the task's
timeout timer--this is the old behaviour, and is
preserved by this patch.

v2: Use enum as the status of a driver's job
    timeout callback method.

v3: Return scheduler/device information, rather
    than task information.

70a59dd829 drm/<drivers>: Constify struct drm_driver
Only the following drivers aren't converted:
- amdgpu, because of the driver_feature mangling due to virt support.
  Subsequent patch will address this.
- nouveau, because DRIVER_ATOMIC uapi is still not the default on the
platforms where it's supported (i.e. again driver_feature mangling)
- vc4, again because of driver_feature mangling
- qxl, because the ioctl table is somewhere else and moving that is
maybe a bit too much, hence the num_ioctls assignment prevents a
  const driver structure.
- arcpgu, because that is stuck behind a pending tiny-fication series
  from me.
- legacy drivers, because legacy requires non-const drm_driver.

Note that for armada I also went ahead and made the ioctl array const.

Only cc'ing the driver people who've not been converted (everyone else
is way too much).

182354a526 drm: etnaviv: fix common struct sg_table related issues
The Documentation/DMA-API-HOWTO.txt states that the dma_map_sg() function
returns the number of the created entries in the DMA address space.
However the subsequent calls to the dma_sync_sg_for_{device,cpu}() and
dma_unmap_sg must be called with the original number of the entries
passed to the dma_map_sg().

struct sg_table is a common structure used for describing a non-contiguous
memory buffer, used commonly in the DRM and graphics subsystems. It
consists of a scatterlist with memory pages and DMA addresses (sgl entry),
as well as the number of scatterlist entries: CPU pages (orig_nents entry)
and DMA mapped pages (nents entry).

It turned out that it was a common mistake to misuse nents and orig_nents
entries, calling DMA-mapping functions with a wrong number of entries or
ignoring the number of mapped entries returned by the dma_map_sg()
function.

To avoid such issues, lets use a common dma-mapping wrappers operating
directly on the struct sg_table objects and use scatterlist page
iterators where possible. This, almost always, hides references to the
nents and orig_nents entries, making the code robust, easier to follow
and copy/paste safe.

50248a3ec0 drm/etnaviv: always start/stop scheduler in timeout processing
The drm scheduler currently expects that the stop/start sequence is always
executed in the timeout handling, as the job at the head of the hardware
execution list is always removed from the ring mirror before the driver
function is called and only inserted back into the list when starting the
scheduler.

This adds some unnecessary overhead if the timeout handler determines
that the GPU is still executing jobs normally and just wished to extend
the timeout, but a better solution requires a major rearchitecture of the
scheduler, which is not applicable as a fix.
