When iteratively computing a checksum with csum_block_add, track the
offset "pos" to correctly rotate in csum_block_add when offset is odd.
The open coded implementation of skb_copy_and_csum_datagram did this.
With the switch to __skb_datagram_iter calling csum_and_copy_to_iter,
pos was reinitialized to 0 on each call.
Bring back the pos by passing it along with the csum to the callback.

iov_iter_advance() is heavily used, but implemented through generic
means. For bvecs there is a specifically crafted function for that, so
use bvec_iter_advance() instead, it's faster and slimmer.

zero-length bvec segments are allowed in general, but not handled by bio
and down the block layer so filtered out. This inconsistency may be
confusing and prevent from optimisations. As zero-length segments are
useless and places that were generating them are patched, declare them
not allowed.

Further testing showed that this is caused by
-fsanitize=unsigned-integer-overflow, but is isolated to the 32-bit x86
architecture.
The one in blake2b immediately overflows the 8KB stack area
architectures, so better ensure this never happens by disabling the
option for 32-bit x86.

Reference-count underflow for percpu_ref is detected in the RCU callback
percpu_ref_switch_to_atomic_rcu(), and the resulting warning does not
print anything allowing easy identification of which percpu_ref use
case is underflowing. This is of course not normally a problem when
developing a new percpu_ref use case because it is most likely that
the problem resides in this new use case. However, when deploying a
new kernel to a large set of servers, the underflow might well be a new
corner case in any of the old percpu_ref use cases.
This commit therefore calls mem_dump_obj() to dump out any additional
available information on the underflowing percpu_ref instance.

We generally expect local_irq_save() and local_irq_restore() to be
paired and sanely nested, and so local_irq_restore() expects to be
called with irqs disabled. Thus, within local_irq_restore() we only
trace irq flag changes when unmasking irqs.
This means that a sequence such as:
| local_irq_disable();
| local_irq_save(flags);
| local_irq_enable();
| local_irq_restore(flags);
... is liable to break things, as the local_irq_restore() would mask
irqs without tracing this change. Similar problems may exist for
architectures whose arch_irq_restore() function depends on being called
with irqs disabled.
We don't consider such sequences to be a good idea, so let's define
those as forbidden, and add tooling to detect such broken cases.
This patch adds debug code to WARN() when raw_local_irq_restore() is
called with irqs enabled. As raw_local_irq_restore() is expected to pair
with raw_local_irq_save(), it should never be called with irqs enabled.
To avoid the possibility of circular header dependencies between
irqflags.h and bug.h, the warning is handled in a separate C file.
The new code is all conditional on a new CONFIG_DEBUG_IRQFLAGS symbol
which is independent of CONFIG_TRACE_IRQFLAGS. As noted above such cases
will confuse lockdep, so CONFIG_DEBUG_LOCKDEP now selects
CONFIG_DEBUG_IRQFLAGS.

With no mod_exit function, users are unable to unload the module after
use. I'm not aware of any reason why module unloading should be
prohibited for this one, so this commit simply adds an empty exit
function.

for debugfs files.

Rationale: DEFINE_SIMPLE_ATTRIBUTE + debugfs_create_file()
imposes some significant overhead as compared to
DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE + debugfs_create_file_unsafe().
In order to protect against file removal races, debugfs files created
via debugfs_create_file() now get wrapped by a struct file_operations
at their opening.
If the original struct file_operations are known to be safe against
removal races by themselves already, the proxy creation may be bypassed
by creating the files through debugfs_create_file_unsafe().
In order to help debugfs users who use the common
DEFINE_SIMPLE_ATTRIBUTE() + debugfs_create_file() idiom to
transition to removal safe struct file_operations, the helper macro
DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE() has been introduced.
Thus, the preferred strategy is to use
DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE() + debugfs_create_file_unsafe()
now.

It's possible to have other build id types (other than default SHA1).
Currently there's also ld support for MD5 build id.
Adding size argument to build_id_parse function, that returns (if defined)
size of the parsed build id, so we can recognize the build id type.

Moving stack_map_get_build_id into lib with
declaration in linux/buildid.h header:

A subsequent patch will add additional atomic operations. These new
operations will use the same opcode field as the existing XADD, with
the immediate discriminating different operations.
In preparation, rename the instruction mode BPF_ATOMIC and start
calling the zero immediate BPF_ADD.
This is possible (doesn't break existing valid BPF progs) because the
immediate field is currently reserved MBZ and BPF_ADD is zero.
All uses are removed from the tree but the BPF_XADD definition is
kept around to avoid breaking builds for people including kernel
headers.

This is just a maintenance patch to update font_ter16x32.c with changes
and minor fixes added in new upstream Terminus v4.49.
>From release notes of new version 4.49, this brings:
- Altered ascii grave in some sizes to be more useful as a back quote.
- Fixed 21B5, added 21B2 and 21B3.
Just as my initial submission of the font, above changes were obtained from
new ter-i32b.psf font source.

Simply running `make` in source directory will build the .psf font files.

Older versions of BSD awk are fussy about the order of '-v' and '-f'
flags, and require a space after the flag name. This causes build
failures on platforms with an old awk, such as macOS and NetBSD.
Since GNU awk and modern versions of BSD awk (distributed with
FreeBSD/OpenBSD) are fine with either form, the definition of
'cmd_unroll' can be trivially tweaked to let the lib/raid6 Makefile
work with both old and new awk flag dialects.

Move most of blake2s_update() and blake2s_final() into new inline
functions __blake2s_update() and __blake2s_final() in
include/crypto/internal/blake2s.h so that this logic can be shared by
the shash helper functions. This will avoid duplicating this logic
between the library and shash implementations.

In commit 11fb479ff5d9 ("zlib: export S390 symbols for zlib modules"), I
added EXPORT_SYMBOL()s to dfltcc_inflate.c but then Mikhail said that
these should probably be in dfltcc_syms.c with the other
EXPORT_SYMBOL()s.
However, that is contrary to the current kernel style, which places
EXPORT_SYMBOL() immediately after the function that it applies to, so
move all EXPORT_SYMBOL()s to their respective function locations and
drop the dfltcc_syms.c file. Also move MODULE_LICENSE() from the
deleted file to dfltcc.c.

Decompressing zlib streams on s390 fails with "incorrect data check"
error.
Userspace zlib checks inflate_state.flags in order to byteswap checksums
only for zlib streams, and s390 hardware inflate code, which was ported
from there, tries to match this behavior. At the same time, kernel zlib
does not use inflate_state.flags, so it contains essentially random
values. For many use cases either zlib stream is zeroed out or checksum
is not used, so this problem is masked, but at least SquashFS is still
affected.
Fix by always passing a checksum to and from the hardware as is, which
matches zlib_inflate()'s expectations.

Some graphic card has very big memory on chip, such as 32G bytes.
In the following case, it will cause overflow:

The overflow occurs in gen_pool_alloc_algo_owner():

The @nbits is "int" type, so it will overflow.
Then the gen_pool_avail() will return the wrong value.
This patch converts some "int" to "unsigned long", and
changes the compare code in while.

This is a preparatory commit for the upcoming addition of a new hardware
tag-based (MTE-based) KASAN mode.
The new mode won't be using shadow memory, but will still use the concept
of memory granules. Each memory granule maps to a single metadata entry:
8 bytes per one shadow byte for generic mode, 16 bytes per one shadow byte
for software tag-based mode, and 16 bytes per one allocation tag for
hardware tag-based mode.
Rename KASAN_SHADOW_SCALE_SIZE to KASAN_GRANULE_SIZE, and
KASAN_SHADOW_MASK to KASAN_GRANULE_MASK.
Also use MASK when used as a mask, otherwise use SIZE.
No functional changes.

We have a handful of new kernel features for 5.11:
* Support for the contiguous memory allocator.
* Support for IRQ Time Accounting
* Support for stack tracing
* Support for strict /dev/mem
* Support for kernel section protection
I'm being a bit conservative on the cutoff for this round due to the
timing, so this is all the new development I'm going to take for this
cycle (even if some of it probably normally would have been OK). There
are, however, some fixes on the list that I will likely be sending along
either later this week or early next week.
There is one issue in here: one of my test configurations
(PREEMPT{,_DEBUG}=y) fails to boot on QEMU 5.0.0 (from April) as of the
.text.init alignment patch. With any luck we'll sort out the issue, but
given how many bugs get fixed all over the place and how unrelated those
features seem my guess is that we're just running into something that's
been lurking for a while and has already been fixed in the newer QEMU
(though I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of these implicit
assumptions we have in the boot flow). If it was hardware I'd be
strongly inclined to look more closely, but given that users can upgrade
their simulators I'm less worried about it.

introduced EI_ETYPE_TRUE, but did not extend
* lib/error-inject.c:error_type_string(), and
* kernel/fail_function.c:adjust_error_retval()
to accommodate for this change.
Handle EI_ETYPE_TRUE in both functions appropriately by
* returning "TRUE" in error_type_string(),
* adjusting the return value to true (1) in adjust_error_retval().
Furthermore, simplify the logic of handling EI_ETYPE_NULL in
adjust_error_retval().
