Pull i2c updates from Wolfram Sang:
- mostly driver updates. Bigger ones for mlxcpld and iproc. But most of
them are all over the place.
- removal of the efm32, sirf, u300, and zte zx bus drivers because of
platform removal. So, we have a pleasant diffstat this time.
- first set of cleanups in the I2C core as preparation to increase
maximum length of SMBus transfers to 255 (as specified in the new
standard). Better documentation of struct i2c_msg and its flags stand
out here.
- the testunit can now respond to SMBus block process calls which is
the testcase when implementing the above new maximum length.

The "#address-cells" and "#size-cells" are required only when the I2C
controller has subnodes. However, some I2C controllers defined in
"arch/arm64/boot/dts/amd/" and "arch/arm64/boot/dts/hisilicon/"
directories do not have child nodes. So they don't need these two
properties and don't write them explicitly.

- also for client mode, a testunit has been added. It can create rare

allows for better timeout detections
- new driver for Mellanox Bluefield

'unevaluatedProperties' is appropriate when including another schema (via

explicitly listed in the schema with the '$ref'.
This is in preparation to add a meta-schema to check for missing
'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties'. This has been a

A conversion of the i2c-pxa binding to DT schema format using json-schema.
This also cleans ups some errors in the binding: The compatible string
description suggested that "mmp" in "mrvl,mmp-twsi" is to be substituted
with a processor model, which wouldn't be a right thing to do and indeed
nobody seems to have been doing that. There also was "Recommended
properties" section that included optional as well as mandatory
properties. Missing mandatory properties were added to the example.

Pull i2c updates from Wolfram Sang:
"I2C has quite some patches for you this time. I hope it is the move to
per-driver-maintainers which is now showing results. We will see.
The big news is two new drivers (Nuvoton NPCM and Qualcomm CCI),
larger refactoring of the Designware, Tegra, and PXA drivers, the
Cadence driver supports being a slave now, and there is support to
instanciate SPD eeproms for well-known cases (which will be
user-visible because the i801 driver supports it), and some
devm_platform_ioremap_resource() conversions which blow up the
diffstat.
Note that I applied the Nuvoton driver quite late, so some minor fixup
patches arrived during the merge window. I chose to apply them right
away because they were trivial"

Add the "baikal,bt1-sys-i2c" compatible string to the DW I2C binding. Even
though the corresponding node is supposed to be a child of the Baikal-T1

dtc currently doesn't support I2C_OWN_SLAVE_ADDRESS flag set in the
i2c "reg" property. If dtc finds an i2c-slave sub-node having an address
higher than ten-bits wide it'll print an ugly warning:
Warning (i2c_bus_reg): /example-2/i2c@1120000/eeprom@64: I2C bus unit address format error, expected "40000064"
Warning (i2c_bus_reg): /example-2/i2c@1120000/eeprom@64:reg: I2C address must be less than 10-bits, got "0x40000064"
In order to silence dtc up let's replace the corresponding DT binding
example with a normal DW I2C master mode-based one. It's done by clearing
the I2C_OWN_SLAVE_ADDRESS bit in the reg property and converting the
sub-node to be compatible with normal EEPROM like "atmel,24c02".
Just revert this commit when dtc is fixed.

Modern device tree bindings are supposed to be created as YAML-files
in accordance with dt-schema. This commit replaces Synopsys DW I2C
legacy bare text bindings with YAML file. As before the bindings file
states that the corresponding dts node is supposed to be compatible
either with generic DW I2C controller or with Microsemi Ocelot SoC I2C
one, to have registers, interrupts and clocks properties. In addition
the node may have clock-frequency, i2c-sda-hold-time-ns,
i2c-scl-falling-time-ns and i2c-sda-falling-time-ns optional properties.
