5fe3943385 drm/ttm/tests: Add eviction testing
Add tests for ttm_bo_validate that focus on BO eviction and swapout.
Update device funcs definition with eviction-related callbacks. Add
alternative funcs where evict_flags() routes eviction to a domain
that can't allocate resources (dubbed "busy manager" in the tests).
Extract the common path of ttm_device init into a function.

588c4c8d58 drm/ttm/tests: Fix a warning in ttm_bo_unreserve_bulk
BOs in a bulk move have to share the same reservation object. That is
not the case in the ttm_bo_unreserve_bulk subtest. Update
ttm_bo_kunit_init() helper to accept dma_resv object so we can define
buffer objects that share the same resv. Update calls to that helper
accordingly.

drm/ttm/tests: Let ttm_bo_test consider different ww_mutex implementation.
PREEMPT_RT has a different locking implementation for ww_mutex. The
base mutex of struct ww_mutex is declared as struct WW_MUTEX_BASE. The
latter is defined as `mutex' for non-PREEMPT_RT builds and `rt_mutex'
for PREEMPT_RT builds.

Using mutex_lock() directly on the base mutex in
ttm_bo_reserve_deadlock() leads to compile error on PREEMPT_RT.

The locking-selftest has its own defines to deal with this and it is
probably best to defines the needed one within the test program since
their usefulness is limited outside of well known selftests.

Provide ww_mutex_base_lock() which points to the correct function for
PREEMPT_RT and non-PREEMPT_RT builds.

"This is the main pull request for the drm subsystems for 6.10.

In drivers the main thing is a new driver for ARM Mali firmware based

b6976f323a drm/ttm: stop pooling cached NUMA pages v2
We only pool write combined and uncached allocations because they
require extra overhead on allocation and release.

If we also pool cached NUMA it not only means some extra unnecessary
overhead, but also that under memory pressure it can happen that
pages from the wrong NUMA node enters the pool and are re-used
over and over again.

This can lead to performance reduction after running into memory
pressure.

v2: restructure and cleanup the code a bit from the internal hack to

cc941c70df drm/ttm: improve idle/busy handling v5
Previously we would never try to move a BO into the preferred placements
when it ever landed in a busy placement since those were considered
compatible.

Rework the whole handling and finally unify the idle and busy handling.
ttm_bo_validate() is now responsible to try idle placement first and then
use the busy placement if that didn't worked.

Drawback is that we now always try the idle placement first for each
validation which might cause some additional CPU overhead on overcommit.

71ce046327 drm/ttm: Make sure the mapped tt pages are decrypted when needed
Some drivers require the mapped tt pages to be decrypted. In an ideal
world this would have been handled by the dma layer, but the TTM page
fault handling would have to be rewritten to able to do that.

A side-effect of the TTM page fault handling is using a dma allocation
per order (via ttm_pool_alloc_page) which makes it impossible to just
trivially use dma_mmap_attrs. As a result ttm has to be very careful
about trying to make its pgprot for the mapped tt pages match what
the dma layer thinks it is. At the ttm layer it's possible to
deduce the requirement to have tt pages decrypted by checking
whether coherent dma allocations have been requested and the system
is running with confidential computing technologies.

This approach isn't ideal but keeping TTM matching DMAs expectations
for the page properties is in general fragile, unfortunately proper
fix would require a rewrite of TTM's page fault handling.

Fixes vmwgfx with SEV enabled.

v2: Explicitly include cc_platform.h
v3: Use CC_ATTR_GUEST_MEM_ENCRYPT instead of CC_ATTR_MEM_ENCRYPT to
limit the scope to guests and log when memory decryption is enabled.

28e5126718 drm/ttm: return ENOSPC from ttm_bo_mem_space v3
Only convert it to ENOMEM in ttm_bo_validate.

This allows ttm_bo_validate to distinguish between an out of memory
situation and just out of space in a placement domain.

Pull drm updates from Dave Airlie:
"This contains two major new drivers:

   - imagination is a first driver for Imagination Technologies devices,
it only covers very specific devices, but there is hope to grow it

   - xe is a reboot of the i915 GPU (shares display) side using a more
upstream focused development model, and trying to maximise code
sharing. It's not enabled for any hw by default, and will hopefully
get switched on for Intel's Lunarlake.

This also drops a bunch of the old UMS ioctls. It's been dead long
  enough.

amdgpu has a bunch of new color management code that is being used in
  the Steam Deck.

amdgpu also has a new ACPI WBRF interaction to help avoid radio
  interference.

Otherwise it's the usual lots of changes in lots of places.

5e0a760b44 mm, treewide: rename MAX_ORDER to MAX_PAGE_ORDER
commit 23baf831a32c ("mm, treewide: redefine MAX_ORDER sanely") has
changed the definition of MAX_ORDER to be inclusive. This has caused
issues with code that was not yet upstream and depended on the previous
definition.

To draw attention to the altered meaning of the define, rename MAX_ORDER
to MAX_PAGE_ORDER.

Rajneesh Bhardwaj
b0a7ce53d4 drm/ttm: Schedule delayed_delete worker closer
Try to allocate system memory on the NUMA node the device is closest to
and try to run delayed_delete workers on a CPU of this node as well.

To optimize the memory clearing operation when a TTM BO gets freed by
the delayed_delete worker, scheduling it closer to a NUMA node where the
memory was initially allocated helps avoid the cases where the worker
gets randomly scheduled on the CPU cores that are across interconnect
boundaries such as xGMI, PCIe etc.

This change helps USWC GTT allocations on NUMA systems (dGPU) and AMD
APU platforms such as GFXIP9.4.3.

0b2f5ea1aa drm/ttm: introduce pool_shrink_rwsem
Currently, synchronize_shrinkers() is only used by TTM pool. It only
requires that no shrinkers run in parallel.

After we use RCU+refcount method to implement the lockless slab shrink, we
can not use shrinker_rwsem or synchronize_rcu() to guarantee that all
shrinker invocations have seen an update before freeing memory.

So we introduce a new pool_shrink_rwsem to implement a private
ttm_pool_synchronize_shrinkers(), so as to achieve the same purpose.
