e9f5f1e456 ARM: OMAP2+: Remove legacy mux code
All the boards booting with device tree use
drivers/pinctrl-single.c instead.

Note that mach-omap1 is still using the legacy mux,
so let's move the related Kconfig options from plat-omap
to mach-omap1.

52aaac5ae5 ARM: OMAP: Fix Kconfig warning for omap1
Commit 21278aeafb ("ARM: use menuconfig for sub-arch menus") improved
the sub-arch menus, but accidentally caused new warnings for omap1.
This was because the commit added a menu entry around config ARCH_OMAP
bool entry where the menu had depends on ARCH_MULTI_V6 || ARCH_MULTI_V7.

As ARCH_OMAP is shared between omap1 and omap2plus, let's fix the
issue by defining ARCH_OMAP in the shared plat-omap/Kconfig.

895a9613a1 ARM: OMAP3: remove deprecated CONFIG_OMAP_IOMMU_IVA2
CONFIG_OMAP_IOMMU_IVA2 was defined originally to avoid conflicting
usage by tidspbridge and other iommu users. The same can be achieved
by marking the DT node disabled, so remove this obsolete flag and
the corresponding hwmod data can be enabled.

c869c75c16 mailbox/omap: move the OMAP mailbox framework to drivers
The mailbox hardware (in OMAP) uses a queued mailbox interrupt
mechanism that provides a communication channel between processors
through a set of registers and their associated interrupt signals
by sending and receiving messages.

The OMAP mailbox framework/driver code is moved to be under
drivers/mailbox, in preparation for adapting to a common mailbox
driver framework. This allows the build for OMAP mailbox to be
enabled (it was disabled during the multi-platform support).

As part of the migration from plat and mach code:
- Kconfig symbols have been renamed to build OMAP1 or OMAP2+ drivers.
- mailbox.h under plat-omap/plat/include has been split into a public
  and private header files. The public header has only the API related
  functions and types.
- The module name mailbox.ko from plat-omap is changed to
  omap-mailbox.ko
- The module name mailbox_mach.ko from mach-omapX is changed as
    mailbox_omap1.ko for OMAP1
    mailbox_omap2.ko for OMAP2+

8f0de0d62f ARM: OMAP2+: Get rid of custom OMAP_32K_TIMER_HZ
The timekeeping doesn't depend on HZ value in presence of fine grained
clocksource and hence there should not be any time drift because of HZ
value which was chosen to be divisor of 32768.

OMAP has been using HZ = 128 value to avoid any time drift issues
because of 32768 HZ clock. But with various measurements performed
with HZ = 100, no time drift is observed and it also proves the
point about HZ not having impact on time keeping on OMAP.

Very informative thread on this topic is here:

a069486162 ARM: OMAP2+: Enable ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM support
Flip on multiplatform support for omap2+.

No changes to omap2plus_defconfig needed, but please note
that you may need to update your custom config files to
make sure you have:

CONFIG_ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM=y
CONFIG_ARCH_MULTI_V7=y
CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2PLUS=y

And may need CONFIG_ARCH_MULTI_V6=y if booting omap2 boards.

a62a6e98c3 ARM: OMAP2+: Disable code that currently does not work with multiplaform
We still need to fix up few places for multiplatform support,
but that can proceed separately. Fix the issue by making the
problem drivers depends !ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM for now.

The remaining pieces that are not multiplatform compatible
for omap2+ SoCs are:

1. Some drivers are using custom omap_dm_timer calls

There are two drivers that are directly usign omap hardware
timers for PWM and DSP clocking: drivers/media/rc/ir-rx51.c and
drivers/staging/tidspbridge/core/dsp-clock.c. These can be
fixed for multiplatform by allowing a minimal set of hardware
timers to be accessed, and for some functionality by using the
hrtimer framework.

2. Hardware OMAP4_ERRATA_I688 needs to be fixed up

This can't be enabled for multiplatform configurations in
it's current form. It may be possible to fix it up to do
instruction replacement early on during init. Luckily it
looks like this errata does not seem to get hit with
mainline kernel code alone at least currently.

3. Legacy header needed for omap-sham.c

Looks like it still needs mach/irqs.h for omap1 that
does not exist for multiplatform systems. Just ifdef
it for now.

4. Mailbox is waiting to get moved to drivers

Disable it for now to avoid adding a dependency to the
mailbox patches.

6f80b3bb8a ARM: OMAP2+: timer: remove CONFIG_OMAP_32K_TIMER
CONFIG_OMAP_32K_TIMER is kind of standing on the single zImage way.
Make OMAP2+ timer code independant from the CONFIG_OMAP_32K_TIMER
setting.
To remove the dependancy, several conversions/additions had to be done:
1) Timer initialization functions are named by the platform
   name and the clock source in use.
   This also makes it possible to define and use the GPTIMER as the
   clock source instead of the 32K timer on platforms that do not have
   the 32K timer ip block or the 32K timer is not wired on the board.
   Currently, the the timer is chosen in the machine_desc structure on
   per board basis. Later, DT should be used to choose the timer.
2) Settings under the CONFIG_OMAP_32K_TIMER option are used as defaults
   and those under !CONFIG_OMAP_32K_TIMER are removed.
   This removes the CONFIG_OMAP_32K_TIMER on OMAP2+ timer code.
3) Since we have all the timers defined inside machine_desc structure
   and we no longer need the fallback to gp_timer clock source in case
   32k_timer clock source is unavailable (namely on AM33xx), we no
   longer need the #ifdef around omap2_sync32k_clocksource_init()
   function. Remove the #ifdef CONFIG_OMAP_32K_TIMER around the
   omap2_sync32k_clocksource_init() function.

b1b3f49ce4 ARM: config: sort select statements alphanumerically
As suggested by Andrew Morton:

  This is a pet peeve of mine. Any time there's a long list of items
  (header file inclusions, kconfig entries, array initalisers, etc) and
  someone wants to add a new item, they *always* go and stick it at the
  end of the list.

  Guys, don't do this. Either put the new item into a randomly-chosen
  position or, probably better, alphanumerically sort the list.

lets sort all our select statements alphanumerically. This commit was
created by the following perl:

while (<>) {
	while (/\\\s*$/) {
		$_ .= <>;
	}
	undef %selects if /^\s*config\s+/;
	if (/^\s+select\s+(\w+).*/) {
		if (defined($selects{$1})) {
			if ($selects{$1} eq $_) {
				print STDERR "Warning: removing duplicated $1 entry\n";
			} else {
				print STDERR "Error: $1 differently selected\n".
					"\tOld: $selects{$1}\n".
					"\tNew: $_\n";
				exit 1;
			}
		}
		$selects{$1} = $_;
		next;
	}
	if (%selects and (/^\s*$/ or /^\s+help/ or /^\s+---help---/ or
			  /^endif/ or /^endchoice/)) {
		foreach $k (sort (keys %selects)) {
			print "$selects{$k}";
		}
		undef %selects;
	}
	print;
}
if (%selects) {
	foreach $k (sort (keys %selects)) {
		print "$selects{$k}";
	}
}

It found two duplicates:

Warning: removing duplicated S5P_SETUP_MIPIPHY entry
Warning: removing duplicated HARDIRQS_SW_RESEND entry

and they are identical duplicates, hence the shrinkage in the diffstat
of two lines.

We have four testers reporting success of this change (Tony, Stephen,
Linus and Sekhar.)

19e4ab54e7 Merge branch 'for-arm-soc' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/cooloney/linux-leds into next/drivers
From Bryan Wu <bryan.wu@canonical.com>:

Based on Linus Walleij's ARM LED consolidation work, this patchset introduce a
new generic led trigger for CPU not only for ARM but also for others.

For enabling CPU idle event, CPU arch code should call ledtrig_cpu() stub to
trigger idle start or idle end event.

These patches convert old style LED driver in arch/arm to gpio_led or new led
driver interface. Against 3.5 release and build successfully for all the machines.

Test ledtrig-cpu driver on OMAP4 Panda board.

v9 --> v10
 * fix compiling issue on versatile_defconfig reported by Russell King
 * rebase to 3.5 kernel and move patches to new git tree

v8 --> v9:
 * use mutex to replace rw_sema pointed out by Tim Gardner
 * add a new struct led_trigger_cpu
 * add lock_is_inited to record mutex lock initialization

v6 --> v7:
 * add a patch to unify the led-trigger name
 * fix some typo pointed
 * use BUG_ON to detect CPU numbers during building stage

v5 --> v6:
 * replace  __get_cpu_var() to per_cpu()
 * remove smp_processor_id() which is wrong with for_each_possible_cpu()
 * test on real OMAP4 Panda board
 * add comments about CPU hotplug in the CPU LED trigger driver

v4 --> v5:
 * rebase all the patches on top of latest linux-next
 * replace on_each_cpu() with for_each_possible_cpu()
 * add some description of ledtrig_cpu() API
 * remove old leds code from driver nwflash.c, which should use a new led trigger then
 * this trigger driver can be built as module now

v3 --> v4:
 * fix a typo pointed by Jochen Friedrich
 * fix some building errors
 * add Reviewed-by and Tested-by into patch log

v2 --> v3:
 * almost rewrote the whole ledtrig-cpu driver, which is more simple
 * every CPU will have a per-CPU trigger
 * cpu trigger can be assigned to any leds
 * fix a lockdep issue in led-trigger common code
 * other fix according to review

v1 --> v2:
 * remove select operations in Kconfig of every machines
 * add back supporting of led in core module of mach-integrator
 * solidate name scheme in ledtrig-cpu.c
 * add comments of CPU_LED_* cpu led events
 * fold patches of RealView and Versatile together
 * add machine_is_ check during assabet led driver init
 * add some Acked-by in patch logs
 * remove code for simpad machine in machine-sa11000, since Jochen Friedrich
   introduced gpiolib and gpio-led driver for simpad
 * on Assabet and Netwinder machine, LED operations is reversed like:
   setting bit means turn off leds
   clearing bit means turn on leds
 * add a new function to read CM_CTRL register for led driver

* 'for-arm-soc' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/cooloney/linux-leds:

1ac02d7958 ARM: fix __io macro for PCMCIA
With commit c334bc1 (ARM: make mach/io.h include optional), PCMCIA was
broken. PCMCIA depends on __io() returning a valid i/o address, and most
ARM platforms require IO_SPACE_LIMIT be set to 0xffffffff for PCMCIA. This
needs a better fix with a fixed i/o address mapping, but for now we just
restore things to the previous behavior.

This fixes at91, omap1, pxa and sa11xx. pxa needs io.h if PCI is enabled,
but PCMCIA is not. sa11xx already has IO_SPACE_LIMIT set to 0xffffffff,
so it doesn't need an io.h.

Given that we want the default to not have any <mach/memory.h> and given
that there are now fewer cases where it is still provided than the cases
where it is not at this point, this makes sense to invert the logic and
just identify the exception cases.

The word "need" instead of "have" was chosen to construct the config
symbol so not to suggest that having a mach/memory.h file is actually
a feature that one should aim for.

Migrate omap's iovmm (virtual memory manager) to the generic IOMMU API,
and adapt omap3isp as needed, so the latter won't break.

The plan is to eventually remove iovmm completely by replacing it
with the (upcoming) IOMMU-based DMA-API.

Tested on OMAP3 (with omap3isp) and OMAP4 (with rpmsg/remoteproc).

dc69d1af9e omap2: Make OMAP2PLUS select OMAP_DM_TIMER
It appears that arch/arm/mach-omap2/timer-gp.o is needed by OMAP2PLUS.
Since timer-gp.o has direct dependencies on omap_dm_timer_*, it seems
correct for the architecture to depend upon OMAP_DM_TIMER, otherwise
unsuspecting integrators will be faced with a whole bunch of linker
errors at the end of their kernel build:

b35cecf978 OMAP4: Smartreflex framework extensions
This patch extends the smartreflex framework to support
OMAP4. The changes are minor like compiling smartreflex Kconfig
option for OMAP4 also, and a couple of OMAP4 checks in
the smartreflex framework.

The change in sr_device.c where new logic has to be introduced
for reading the efuse registers is due to the fact that in OMAP4
the efuse registers are 24 bit aligned. A __raw_readl will
fail for non-32 bit aligned address and hence the 8-bit read
and shift.

fa765823a3 OMAP3: PM: Adding smartreflex class3 driver
Smartreflex Class3 implementation continuously monitors
silicon performance and instructs the Voltage Processors
to increase or decrease the voltage.
This patch adds smartreflex class 3 driver. This driver hooks
up with the generic smartreflex driver smartreflex.c to abstract
out class specific implementations out of the generic driver.

Class3 driver is chosen as the default class driver for smartreflex.
If any other class driver needs to be implemented, the init of that
driver should be called from the board file. That way the new class driver
will over-ride the Class3 driver.

984aa6dbf4 OMAP3: PM: Adding smartreflex driver support.
SmartReflex modules do adaptive voltage control for real-time
voltage adjustments. With Smartreflex the power supply voltage
can be adapted to the silicon performance(manufacturing process,
temperature induced performance, age induced performance etc).

There are differnet classes of smartreflex implementation.
	Class-0: Manufacturing Test Calibration
	Class-1: Boot-Time Software Calibration
	Class-2: Continuous Software Calibration
	Class-3: Continuous Hardware Calibration
	Class-4: Fully Integrated Power Management

OMAP3 has two smartreflex modules one associated with VDD MPU and the
other associated with VDD CORE.
This patch adds support for smartreflex driver. The driver is designed
for Class-1 , Class-2 and Class-3 support and is  a platform driver.
Smartreflex driver can be enabled through a Kconfig option
"SmartReflex support" under "System type"->"TI OMAP implementations" menu.

Smartreflex autocompensation feature can be enabled runtime through
a debug fs option.
To enable smartreflex autocompensation feature
	echo 1 > /debug/voltage/vdd_<X>/smartreflex/autocomp
To disable smartreflex autocompensation feature
	echo 0 > /debug/voltage/vdd_<X>/smartreflex/autocomp

where X can be mpu, core , iva etc.

This patch contains code originally in linux omap pm branch.
Major contributors to this driver are
Lesly A M, Rajendra Nayak, Kalle Jokiniemi, Paul Walmsley,
Nishant Menon, Kevin Hilman.
