825f0de2fd drm/i915/power: move dc state members to struct i915_power_domains
There's only one reference to the struct intel_dmc members dc_state,
target_dc_state, and allowed_dc_mask within intel_dmc.c, begging the
question why they are under struct intel_dmc to begin with.

Moreover, the only references to i915->display.dmc outside of
intel_dmc.c are to these members.

They don't belong. Move them from struct intel_dmc to struct
i915_power_domains, which seems like a more suitable place.

3eb08ea58e drm/i915: s/PIPECONF/TRANSCONF/
Rename PIPECONF to TRANSCONF to make it clear what it actually
applies to.

While the usual convention is to pick the earliers name I think
in this case it's more clear to use the later name. Especially
as even the register offset is in the wrong range (0x70000 vs.
0x60000) and thus makes it look like this is per-pipe.

There is one place in gvt that's doing something with TRANSCONF
while iterating with for_each_pipe(). So that might not be doing
the right thing for TRANSCODER_EDP, dunno. Not knowing what it
does I left it as is to avoid breakage.

ee9125720c drm/i915: Consult the registered encoders for the ICL combo PHY w/a
Display WA #1178 calls us to tweak some magic bits when doing AUX
to an external combo PHY port. Instead of looking to see if the VBT
has declared such a port (which could in theory even alias with a
declared eDP port on the same PHY) just check the real situation
based on the registered encoders.

The only slight chicken vs. egg situation here is during output
probing. But typically we'd register the eDP ports first and so
once we get to probe anything external on the combo PHY we have
already determined if it's eDP or not.

b8ed55335e drm/i915/tgl+: Sanitize DKL PHY register definitions
Not all Dekel PHY registers have a lane instance, so having to specify
this when using them is awkward. It makes more sense to define each PHY
register with its full internal PHY offset where bits 15:12 is the lane
for lane-instanced PHY registers and just a register bank index for other
PHY registers. This way lane-instanced registers can be referred to with
the (tc_port, lane) parameters, while other registers just with a tc_port
parameter.

An additional benefit of this change is to prevent passing a Dekel
register to a generic MMIO access function or vice versa.

v2:
- Fix parameter	reuse in the DKL_REG_MMIO definition.

89cb0ba4ce drm/i915/tgl+: Add locking around DKL PHY register accesses
Accessing the TypeC DKL PHY registers during modeset-commit,
-verification, DP link-retraining and AUX power well toggling is racy
due to these code paths being concurrent and the PHY register bank
selection register (HIP_INDEX_REG) being shared between PHY instances
(aka TC ports) and the bank selection being not atomic wrt. the actual
PHY register access.

Add the required locking around each PHY register bank selection->
register access sequence.

Kudos to Ville for noticing the race conditions.

v2:

3ab5e051cb drm/i915: Add functions to get a power well's state/name/domains/mask/refcount
Add functions to get a power well's actual- and cached-enabled state,
name, domain mask and refcount, as a step towards making the low-level
power well internals (i915_power_well_ops/desc structs) hidden.

No functional change.

90cf356bb4 drm/i915: Add function to call a power well's sync_hw() hook
Add a function to call a power well's sync_hw() hook, instead of
open-coding the same, as a step towards making the low-level
power well internals (i915_power_well_ops/desc structs) hidden.

The cached-enable state should be always up-to-date, so update it
whenever sync_hw() is called.

No functional change.

ef1e170891 drm/i915: Move power well get/put/enable/disable functions to a new file
Move the power well get/put/enable/disable hooks to the new
intel_display_power_well.c file. The motivation is to reduce the clutter
in intel_display_power.c, keeping the functionality related to power
domains in that file and moving the low-level power well functionality
to intel_display_power_well.c.

No functional change.
