90b9566aa5 selftests: forwarding: add a test for local_termination.sh
This tests the capability of switch ports to filter out undesired
traffic. Different drivers are expected to have different capabilities
here (so some may fail and some may pass), yet the test still has some
value, for example to check for regressions.

There are 2 kinds of failures, one is when a packet which should have
been accepted isn't (and that should be fixed), and the other "failure"
(as reported by the test) is when a packet could have been filtered out
(for being unnecessary) yet it was received.

The bridge driver fares particularly badly at this test:

TEST: br0: Unicast IPv4 to primary MAC address [ OK ]
TEST: br0: Unicast IPv4 to macvlan MAC address [ OK ]
TEST: br0: Unicast IPv4 to unknown MAC address [FAIL]
reception succeeded, but should have failed

TEST: br0: Unicast IPv4 to unknown MAC address, allmulti [FAIL]

TEST: br0: Multicast IPv4 to joined group [ OK ]
TEST: br0: Multicast IPv4 to unknown group [FAIL]
reception succeeded, but should have failed
TEST: br0: Multicast IPv4 to unknown group, promisc [ OK ]
TEST: br0: Multicast IPv4 to unknown group, allmulti [ OK ]
TEST: br0: Multicast IPv6 to joined group [ OK ]
TEST: br0: Multicast IPv6 to unknown group [FAIL]

TEST: br0: Multicast IPv6 to unknown group, allmulti [ OK ]

mainly because it does not implement IFF_UNICAST_FLT. Yet I still think
having the test (with the failures) is useful in case somebody wants to
tackle that problem in the future, to make an easy before-and-after
comparison.

476a4f05d9 selftests: forwarding: add a no_forwarding.sh test
Bombard a standalone switch port with various kinds of traffic to ensure
it is really standalone and doesn't leak packets to other switch ports.
Also check for switch ports in different bridges, and switch ports in a
VLAN-aware bridge but having different pvids. No forwarding should take
place in either case.

a5114df6c6 selftests: forwarding: add helper for retrieving IPv6 link-local address of interface
Pinging an IPv6 link-local multicast address selects the link-local
unicast address of the interface as source, and we'd like to monitor for
that in tcpdump.

Add a helper to the forwarding library which retrieves the link-local
IPv6 address of an interface, to make that task easier.

f23cddc722 selftests: forwarding: add helpers for IP multicast group joins/leaves
Extend the forwarding library with calls to some small C programs which
join an IP multicast group and send some packets to it. Both IPv4 and
IPv6 groups are supported. Use cases range from testing IGMP/MLD
snooping, to RX filtering, to multicast routing.

Testing multicast traffic using msend/mreceive is intended to be done
using tcpdump.

6182c5c509 selftests: forwarding: multiple instances in tcpdump helper
Extend tcpdump_start() & C:o to handle multiple instances. Useful when
observing bridge operation, e.g., unicast learning/flooding, and any
case of multicast distribution (to these ports but not that one ...).

This means the interface argument is now a mandatory argument to all
tcpdump_*() functions, hence the changes to the ocelot flower test.

b343734ee2 selftests: forwarding: add option to run tests with stable MAC addresses
By default, DSA switch ports inherit their MAC address from the DSA
master.

This works well for practical situations, but some selftests like
bridge_vlan_unaware.sh loop back 2 standalone DSA ports with 2 bridged
DSA ports, and require the bridge to forward packets between the
standalone ports.

Due to the bridge seeing that the MAC DA it needs to forward is present
as a local FDB entry (it coincides with the MAC address of the bridge
ports), the test packets are not forwarded, but terminated locally on
br0. In turn, this makes the ping and ping6 tests fail.

Address this by introducing an option to have stable MAC addresses.
When mac_addr_prepare is called, the current addresses of the netifs are
saved and replaced with 00:01:02:03:04:${netif number}. Then when
mac_addr_restore is called at the end of the test, the original MAC
addresses are restored. This ensures that the MAC addresses are unique,
which makes the test pass even for DSA ports.

The usage model is for the behavior to be opt-in via STABLE_MAC_ADDRS,
which DSA should set to true, all others behave as before. By hooking
the calls to mac_addr_prepare and mac_addr_restore within the forwarding
lib itself, we do not need to patch each individual selftest, the only
requirement is that pre_cleanup is called.

4ddc844eb8 net/sched: act_police: more accurate MTU policing
in current Linux, MTU policing does not take into account that packets at
the TC ingress have the L2 header pulled. Thus, the same TC police action
(with the same value of tcfp_mtu) behaves differently for ingress/egress.
In addition, the full GSO size is compared to tcfp_mtu: as a consequence,
the policer drops GSO packets even when individual segments have the L2 +
L3 + L4 + payload length below the configured valued of tcfp_mtu.

Improve the accuracy of MTU policing as follows:
 - account for mac_len for non-GSO packets at TC ingress.
 - compare MTU threshold with the segmented size for GSO packets.
Also, add a kselftest that verifies the correct behavior.

bafe517af2 selftests: fib offload: use sensible tos values
Although both iproute2 and the kernel accept 1 and 2 as tos values for
new routes, those are invalid. These values only set ECN bits, which
are ignored during IPv4 fib lookups. Therefore, no packet can actually
match such routes. This selftest therefore only succeeds because it
doesn't verify that the new routes do actually work in practice (it
just checks if the routes are offloaded or not).

It makes more sense to use tos values that don't conflict with ECN.
This way, the selftest won't be affected if we later decide to warn or
even reject invalid tos configurations for new routes.

af0a51113c selftests: forwarding: Fix packet matching in mirroring selftests
In commit 6de6e46d27 ("cls_flower: Fix inability to match GRE/IPIP
packets"), cls_flower was fixed to match an outer packet of a tunneled
packet as would be expected, rather than dissecting to the inner packet and
matching on that.

This fix uncovered several issues in packet matching in mirroring
selftests:

- in mirror_gre_bridge_1d_vlan.sh and mirror_gre_vlan_bridge_1q.sh, the
vlan_ethtype match is copied around as "ip", even as some of the tests
are running over ip6gretap. This is fixed by using an "ipv6" for
  vlan_ethtype in the ip6gretap tests.

- in mirror_gre_changes.sh, a filter to count GRE packets is set up to
match TTL of 50. This used to trigger in the offloaded datapath, where
the envelope TTL was matched, but not in the software datapath, which
considered TTL of the inner packet. Now that both match consistently, all
the packets were double-counted. This is fixed by marking the filter as
skip_hw, leaving only the SW datapath component active.

34d7ecb3d4 selftests: net: bridge: update IGMP/MLD membership interval value
When I fixed IGMPv3/MLDv2 to use the bridge's multicast_membership_interval
value which is chosen by user-space instead of calculating it based on
multicast_query_interval and multicast_query_response_interval I forgot
to update the selftests relying on that behaviour. Now we have to
manually set the expected GMI value to perform the tests correctly and get
proper results (similar to IGMPv2 behaviour).

b8bfafe434 selftests: mlxsw: Add helpers for skipping selftests
A number of mlxsw-specific selftests currently detect whether they are run
on a compatible machine, and bail out silently when not. These tests are
however done in a somewhat impenetrable manner by directly comparing PCI
IDs against a blacklist or a whitelist, and bailing out silently if the
machine is not compatible.

Instead, add a helper, mlxsw_only_on_spectrum(), which allows specifying
the supported machines in a human-readable manner. If the current machine
is incompatible, the helper emits a SKIP message and returns an error code,
based on which the caller can gracefully bail out in a suitable way. This
allows a more readable conditions such as:

	mlxsw_only_on_spectrum 2+ || return

Convert all existing open-coded guards to the new helper. Also add two new
guards to do_mark_test() and do_drop_test(), which are supported only on
Spectrum-2+, but the corresponding check was not there.

These programs are useful, but not all selftests require them.

Additionally, on embedded boards without package management (things like

So it is actually a bit annoying to require programs that are not used.
Introduce options that can be set by scripts to not enforce these
