Dan Carpenter suggested to run chechpatch.pl --strict on ksmbd to fix
check warnings. This patch does not fix all warnings but only things that
I can understand.

The variable err is being initialized with a value that is never read
and it is being updated later with a new value. The initialization is
redundant and can be removed.
