a98ac8bd24 dt-bindings: ptp: add ptp-qoriq.txt
This patch is to add a documentation for ptp_qoriq dt-bindings.
The description for ptp_qoriq dt-bindings was actually moved
from Documentation/devicetree/bindings/net/fsl-tsec-phy.txt,
since gianfar_ptp driver was moved to ptp_qoriq driver.

385c83ebc3 media: rcar-csi2: add Renesas R-Car MIPI CSI-2 receiver documentation
Documentation for Renesas R-Car MIPI CSI-2 receiver. The CSI-2 receivers
are located between the video sources (CSI-2 transmitters) and the video
grabbers (VIN) on Gen3 of Renesas R-Car SoC.

Each CSI-2 device is connected to more than one VIN device which
simultaneously can receive video from the same CSI-2 device. Each VIN
device can also be connected to more than one CSI-2 device. The routing
of which links are used is controlled by the VIN devices. There are only
a few possible routes which are set by hardware limitations, which are
different for each SoC in the Gen3 family.

a51dcd297d Renesas ARM Based SoC Updates for v4.18
* SoC
   - Change platform dependency to ARCH_RENESAS

     Geert Uytterhoeven says "The Renesas Fine Display Processor driver is
     used on Renesas R-Car SoCs only. Since commit 9b5ba0df4ea4f940 ("ARM:
     shmobile: Introduce ARCH_RENESAS") is ARCH_RENESAS a more appropriate
     platform dependency than the legacy ARCH_SHMOBILE, hence use the
     former.

     This will allow to drop ARCH_SHMOBILE on ARM and ARM64 in the near
     future."

   - Add the to Kconfig RZ/N1D (r9a06g032) SoC

     In preparation for upstream support of this SoC

   - Identify R-Car E3 (r8a77990) SoC

   - Identify and add minimal support for RZ/G1C (r8a77470) SoC

 * R-Car SYSC
   - Add support for R-Car E3 (r8a77990) SoC

     Shimoda-san says this adds:
     + "Cortex-A53 CPU{0,1}, Cortex-A53 SCU, Cortex-R7, A3VC,
        A2VC1 and 3DG-{A,B} power domain areas..."

     + "workaround for 3DG-{A,B} of R-Car E3 ES1.0 because
        the SoC has a restriction about the order."

   - Remove unused inclusion of <linux/sys_soc.h>,

   - Make r8a77995_areas[] const.

 * R-Car Reset

   - Add support for R-Car E3 (r8a77990) SoC

     This driver is needed for the clock driver to work

 * Debug-LL

   - Add support for RZ/G1C (r8a77470) SoC

     RZ/G1C uses SCIF1 for the debug console

1d646229f2 clk: rockchip: remove deprecated gate-clk code and dt-binding
Initially we tried modeling clocks via the devicetree before switching
to clocks declared in the clock drivers and only exporting specific
ids to the devicetree.

As the old code was in the kernel for 1-2 releases when the new mode
of operation was added we kept it for backwards compatibility.

That deprecation notice is in the binding since july 2014, so nearly
4 years now and I think it's time to drop the old cruft.

Especially as at the time using the mainline kernel on Rockchip devices
was not really possible, except for experiments on the really old socs of
the rk3066 + rk3188 line, so there shouldn't be any devicetrees still
around that rely on that code.
