a4f9285520 This a large collection of clk driver updates and a handful of new SoC
clk driver support. We have the usual Qualcomm clk drivers, along with
clk drivers for the Sophgo and T-Head vendors, all to support some new
 SoCs.

Nothing in particular stands out to me in the updates. There's the
interconnect clk driver which exposes clks as interconnects, crossing
subsystems. There's a bunch of janitorial things that are improving
drivers in general like kmemdup_array() or fixing error paths. But
overall the updates look normal to fix the description data which is
usually the stuff that's wrong and/or untested.

I really wanted to land a bunch of KUnit clk code that I've been working
on whenever I get some free time but it turned into a pumpkin at the
last minute so I dropped those patches. I'll let it soak in linux-next
after the merge window closes. I have a suspicion that we're going to
need to totally rework the clk framework to fix structural issues like
locking, clk rate setting, and runtime PM usage. Having a bunch of unit
tests for that will help make sure that all keeps working.

 Core:
  - Skip gate basic type KUnit tests on s390 due to lack of MMIO emulation

878e845d8d clk: mediatek: mt8183: Only enable runtime PM on mt8183-mfgcfg
Commit 2f7b1d8b55 ("clk: mediatek: Do a runtime PM get on controllers
during probe") enabled runtime PM for all mediatek clock controllers,
but this introduced an issue on the resume path.

If a device resumes earlier than the clock controller and calls
clk_prepare() when runtime PM is enabled on the controller, it will end
up calling clk_pm_runtime_get(). But the subsequent
pm_runtime_resume_and_get() call will fail because the runtime PM is
temporarily disabled during suspend.

To workaround this, introduce a need_runtime_pm flag and only enable it
on mt8183-mfgcfg, which is the driver that observed deadlock previously.
Hopefully mt8183-cfgcfg won't run into the issue at the resume stage
because the GPU should have stopped rendering before the system calls
suspend.

61ca6ee782 clk: mediatek: Make mtk_clk_simple_remove() return void
__mtk_clk_simple_remove() and so also mtk_clk_simple_remove() return
zero unconditionally. Make them return no value instead and convert the
drivers making use of it to platform_driver's .remove_new().

This makes the semantics in the callers of mtk_clk_simple_remove() clearer
and prepares for the quest to make platform driver's remove function return
void. There is no semantic change.

609cc5e1a8 clk: mediatek: Replace 'struct clk' with 'struct clk_hw'
As part of the effort to improve the MediaTek clk drivers, the next step
is to switch from the old 'struct clk' clk prodivder APIs to the new
'struct clk_hw' ones.

Instead of adding new APIs to the MediaTek clk driver library mirroring
the existing ones, moving all drivers to the new APIs, and then removing
the old ones, just migrate everything at the same time. This involves
replacing 'struct clk' with 'struct clk_hw', and 'struct clk_onecell_data'
with 'struct clk_hw_onecell_data', and fixing up all usages.

For now, the clk_register() and co. usage is retained, with __clk_get_hw()
and (struct clk_hw *)->clk used to bridge the difference between the APIs.
These will be replaced in subsequent patches.

Fix up mtk_{alloc,free}_clk_data to use 'struct clk_hw' by hand. Fix up
all other affected call sites with the following coccinelle script.
