559966652a arm64: dts: marvell: armada-37xx: Extend PCIe MEM space

Current PCIe MEM space of size 16 MB is not enough for some combination
of PCIe cards (e.g. NVMe disk together with ath11k wifi card). ARM Trusted
Firmware for Armada 3700 platform already assigns 128 MB for PCIe window,
so extend PCIe MEM space to the end of 128 MB PCIe window which allows to
allocate more PCIe BARs for more PCIe cards.

Without this change some combination of PCIe cards cannot be used and
kernel show error messages in dmesg during initialization:

Due to bugs in U-Boot port for Turris Mox, the second range in Turris Mox
kernel DTS file for PCIe must start at 16 MB offset. Otherwise U-Boot
crashes during loading of kernel DTB file. This bug is present only in
U-Boot code for Turris Mox and therefore other Armada 3700 devices are not
affected by this bug. Bug is fixed in U-Boot version 2021.07.

To not break booting new kernels on existing versions of U-Boot on Turris
Mox, use first 16 MB range for IO and second range with rest of PCIe window
for MEM.

93cb263d81 arm64: Mark __stack_chk_guard as __ro_after_init

__stack_chk_guard is setup once while init stage and never changed
after that.

Although the modification of this variable at runtime will usually
cause the kernel to crash (so does the attacker), it should be marked
as __ro_after_init, and it should not affect performance if it is
placed in the ro_after_init section.

6bd98f8259 drivers: base: cacheinfo: Get rid of DEFINE_SMP_CALL_CACHE_FUNCTION()

DEFINE_SMP_CALL_CACHE_FUNCTION() was usefel before the CPU hotplug rework
to ensure that the cache related functions are called on the upcoming CPU
because the notifier itself could run on any online CPU.

The hotplug state machine guarantees that the callbacks are invoked on the
upcoming CPU. So there is no need to have this SMP function call
obfuscation. That indirection was missed when the hotplug notifiers were
converted.

This also solves the problem of ARM64 init_cache_level() invoking ACPI
functions which take a semaphore in that context. That's invalid as SMP
function calls run with interrupts disabled. Running it just from the
callback in context of the CPU hotplug thread solves this.

aadf3115f8 arm64/sve: Use correct size when reinitialising SVE state
commit e35ac9d0b56e9efefaeeb84b635ea26c2839ea86 upstream.

When we need a buffer for SVE register state we call sve_alloc() to make
sure that one is there. In order to avoid repeated allocations and frees
we keep the buffer around unless we change vector length and just memset()
it to ensure a clean register state. The function that deals with this
takes the task to operate on as an argument, however in the case where we
do a memset() we initialise using the SVE state size for the current task
rather than the task passed as an argument.

This is only an issue in the case where we are setting the register state
for a task via ptrace and the task being configured has a different vector
length to the task tracing it. In the case where the buffer is larger in
the traced process we will leak old state from the traced process to
itself, in the case where the buffer is smaller in the traced process we
will overflow the buffer and corrupt memory.

79d15fc564 arm64: head: avoid over-mapping in map_memory
commit 90268574a3e8a6b883bd802d702a2738577e1006 upstream.

The `compute_indices` and `populate_entries` macros operate on inclusive
bounds, and thus the `map_memory` macro which uses them also operates
on inclusive bounds.

We pass `_end` and `_idmap_text_end` to `map_memory`, but these are
exclusive bounds, and if one of these is sufficiently aligned (as a
result of kernel configuration, physical placement, and KASLR), then:

* In `compute_indices`, the computed `iend` will be in the page/block *after*
  the final byte of the intended mapping.

* In `populate_entries`, an unnecessary entry will be created at the end
  of each level of table. At the leaf level, this entry will map up to
  SWAPPER_BLOCK_SIZE bytes of physical addresses that we did not intend
  to map.

As we may map up to SWAPPER_BLOCK_SIZE bytes more than intended, we may
violate the boot protocol and map physical address past the 2MiB-aligned
end address we are permitted to map. As we map these with Normal memory
attributes, this may result in further problems depending on what these
physical addresses correspond to.

The final entry at each level may require an additional table at that
level. As EARLY_ENTRIES() calculates an inclusive bound, we allocate
enough memory for this.

Avoid the extraneous mapping by having map_memory convert the exclusive
end address to an inclusive end address by subtracting one, and do
likewise in EARLY_ENTRIES() when calculating the number of required
tables. For clarity, comments are updated to more clearly document which
boundaries the macros operate on.  For consistency with the other
macros, the comments in map_memory are also updated to describe `vstart`
and `vend` as virtual addresses.

91cdb5b362 bpf: Introduce BPF nospec instruction for mitigating Spectre v4
commit f5e81d1117501546b7be050c5fbafa6efd2c722c upstream.

In case of JITs, each of the JIT backends compiles the BPF nospec instruction
/either/ to a machine instruction which emits a speculation barrier /or/ to
/no/ machine instruction in case the underlying architecture is not affected
by Speculative Store Bypass or has different mitigations in place already.

This covers both x86 and (implicitly) arm64: In case of x86, we use 'lfence'
instruction for mitigation. In case of arm64, we rely on the firmware mitigation
as controlled via the ssbd kernel parameter. Whenever the mitigation is enabled,
it works for all of the kernel code with no need to provide any additional
instructions here (hence only comment in arm64 JIT). Other archs can follow
as needed. The BPF nospec instruction is specifically targeting Spectre v4
since i) we don't use a serialization barrier for the Spectre v1 case, and
ii) mitigation instructions for v1 and v4 might be different on some archs.

The BPF nospec is required for a future commit, where the BPF verifier does
annotate intermediate BPF programs with speculation barriers.

On LS2088A-RDB board, if the spi-fsl-dspi driver is built as module
then its probe fails with the following warning:

Reason for the failure is that bus-num property is set for dspi node.
However, bus-num property is not set for the qspi node. If probe for
spi-fsl-qspi happens first then id 0 is dynamically allocated to it.
Call to spi_register_controller() from spi-fsl-dspi driver then fails.
Since commit 29d2daf2c33c ("spi: spi-fsl-dspi: Make bus-num property
optional") bus-num property is optional. Remove bus-num property from
dspi node to fix the issue.

2ca5f9f13a KVM: arm64: Fix debug register indexing
commit cb853ded1d25e5b026ce115dbcde69e3d7e2e831 upstream.

Commit 03fdfb2690099 ("KVM: arm64: Don't write junk to sysregs on
reset") flipped the register number to 0 for all the debug registers
in the sysreg table, hereby indicating that these registers live
in a separate shadow structure.

However, the author of this patch failed to realise that all the
accessors are using that particular index instead of the register
encoding, resulting in all the registers hitting index 0. Not quite
a valid implementation of the architecture...

Address the issue by fixing all the accessors to use the CRm field
of the encoding, which contains the debug register index.

9e43d5e4f8 KVM: arm64: Initialize VCPU mdcr_el2 before loading it
commit 263d6287da1433aba11c5b4046388f2cdf49675c upstream.

When a VCPU is created, the kvm_vcpu struct is initialized to zero in
kvm_vm_ioctl_create_vcpu(). On VHE systems, the first time
vcpu.arch.mdcr_el2 is loaded on hardware is in vcpu_load(), before it is
set to a sensible value in kvm_arm_setup_debug() later in the run loop. The
result is that KVM executes for a short time with MDCR_EL2 set to zero.

This has several unintended consequences:

* Setting MDCR_EL2.HPMN to 0 is constrained unpredictable according to ARM
  DDI 0487G.a, page D13-3820. The behavior specified by the architecture
  in this case is for the PE to behave as if MDCR_EL2.HPMN is set to a
  value less than or equal to PMCR_EL0.N, which means that an unknown
  number of counters are now disabled by MDCR_EL2.HPME, which is zero.

* The host configuration for the other debug features controlled by
  MDCR_EL2 is temporarily lost. This has been harmless so far, as Linux
  doesn't use the other fields, but that might change in the future.

Let's avoid both issues by initializing the VCPU's mdcr_el2 field in
kvm_vcpu_vcpu_first_run_init(), thus making sure that the MDCR_EL2 register
has a consistent value after each vcpu_load().

5ee60aa4b2 arm64: dts: uniphier: Change phy-mode to RGMII-ID to enable delay pins for RTL8211E

UniPhier LD20 and PXs3 boards have RTL8211E ethernet phy, and the phy have
the RX/TX delays of RGMII interface using pull-ups on the RXDLY and TXDLY
pins.

After the commit bbc4d71d6354 ("net: phy: realtek: fix rtl8211e rx/tx
delay config"), the delays are working correctly, however, "rgmii" means
no delay and the phy doesn't work. So need to set the phy-mode to
"rgmii-id" to show that RX/TX delays are enabled.

a921d01486 arm64: vdso: remove commas between macro name and arguments
LLVM's integrated assembler appears to assume an argument with default
value is passed whenever it sees a comma right after the macro name.
It will be fine if the number of following arguments is one less than
the number of parameters specified in the macro definition. Otherwise,
it fails. For example, the following code works:

.macro  foo arg1=2, arg2=4
        ldr r0, [r1, #\arg1]
        ldr r0, [r1, #\arg2]

foo, arg2=8

Just remove the comma in the clock_gettime_return invocations in 4.19 so
that GNU as and LLVM's integrated assembler work the same.

44149b3e10 arm64/vdso: Discard .note.gnu.property sections in vDSO

The arm64 assembler in binutils 2.32 and above generates a program
property note in a note section, .note.gnu.property, to encode used x86
ISAs and features. But the kernel linker script only contains a single
NOTE segment:

set atomically"), LLVM's integrated assembler fails to build entry.S:

The root cause is LLVM's assembler has a one-pass design, meaning it
cannot figure out these instruction lengths when the .org directive is
outside of the subsection that they are in, which was changed by the
.arch_extension directive added in the above commit.

Apply the same fix from commit 966a0acce2fc ("arm64/alternatives: move
length validation inside the subsection") to the alternative_endif
macro, shuffling the .org directives so that the length validation
happen will always happen in the same subsections. alternative_insn has
not shown any issue yet but it appears that it could have the same issue
in the future so just preemptively change it.

Disable guest access to the Trace Filter control registers.
We do not advertise the Trace filter feature to the guest
(ID_AA64DFR0_EL1: TRACE_FILT is cleared) already, but the guest
can still access the TRFCR_EL1 unless we trap it.

This will also make sure that the guest cannot fiddle with
the filtering controls set by a nvhe host.

6e87355944 KVM: arm64: Hide system instruction access to Trace registers

Currently we advertise the ID_AA6DFR0_EL1.TRACEVER for the guest,
when the trace register accesses are trapped (CPTR_EL2.TTA == 1).
So, the guest will get an undefined instruction, if trusts the
ID registers and access one of the trace registers.
Lets be nice to the guest and hide the feature to avoid
unexpected behavior.

Even though this can be done at KVM sysreg emulation layer,
we do this by removing the TRACEVER from the sanitised feature
register field. This is fine as long as the ETM drivers
can handle the individual trace units separately, even
when there are differences among the CPUs.

df6f09cb71 arm64: kdump: update ppos when reading elfcorehdr

The ppos points to a position in the old kernel memory (and in case of
arm64 in the crash kernel since elfcorehdr is passed as a segment). The
function should update the ppos by the amount that was read. This bug is
not exposed by accident, but other platforms update this value properly.
So, fix it in ARM64 version of elfcorehdr_read() as well.

23ce6b7d40 KVM: arm64: nvhe: Save the SPE context early
commit b96b0c5de685df82019e16826a282d53d86d112c upstream

The nVHE KVM hyp drains and disables the SPE buffer, before
entering the guest, as the EL1&0 translation regime
is going to be loaded with that of the guest.

But this operation is performed way too late, because :
 - The owning translation regime of the SPE buffer
   is transferred to EL2. (MDCR_EL2_E2PB == 0)
 - The guest Stage1 is loaded.

Thus the flush could use the host EL1 virtual address,
but use the EL2 translations instead of host EL1, for writing
out any cached data.

Fix this by moving the SPE buffer handling early enough.
The restore path is doing the right thing.

5ef8dff99f arm64: Use correct ll/sc atomic constraints

The A64 ISA accepts distinct (but overlapping) ranges of immediates for:

 * add arithmetic instructions ('I' machine constraint)
 * sub arithmetic instructions ('J' machine constraint)
 * 32-bit logical instructions ('K' machine constraint)
 * 64-bit logical instructions ('L' machine constraint)

... but we currently use the 'I' constraint for many atomic operations
using sub or logical instructions, which is not always valid.

When CONFIG_ARM64_LSE_ATOMICS is not set, this allows invalid immediates
to be passed to instructions, potentially resulting in a build failure.
When CONFIG_ARM64_LSE_ATOMICS is selected the out-of-line ll/sc atomics
always use a register as they have no visibility of the value passed by
the caller.

This patch adds a constraint parameter to the ATOMIC_xx and
__CMPXCHG_CASE macros so that we can pass appropriate constraints for
each case, with uses updated accordingly.

Unfortunately prior to GCC 8.1.0 the 'K' constraint erroneously accepted
'4294967295', so we must instead force the use of a register.

f5c832bcb1 arm64: cmpxchg: Use "K" instead of "L" for ll/sc immediate constraint

The "L" AArch64 machine constraint, which we use for the "old" value in
an LL/SC cmpxchg(), generates an immediate that is suitable for a 64-bit
logical instruction. However, for cmpxchg() operations on types smaller
than 64 bits, this constraint can result in an invalid instruction which
is correctly rejected by GAS, such as EOR W1, W1, #0xffffffff.

Whilst we could special-case the constraint based on the cmpxchg size,
it's far easier to change the constraint to "K" and put up with using
a register for large 64-bit immediates. For out-of-line LL/SC atomics,
this is all moot anyway.

79e73552f4 arm64 module: set plt* section addresses to 0x0

These plt* and .text.ftrace_trampoline sections specified for arm64 have
non-zero addressses. Non-zero section addresses in a relocatable ELF would
confuse GDB when it tries to compute the section offsets and it ends up
printing wrong symbol addresses. Therefore, set them to zero, which mirrors
the change in commit 5d8591bc0fba ("module: set ksymtab/kcrctab* section
addresses to 0x0").

The erratum 1024718 affects Cortex-A55 r0p0 to r2p0. However
we apply the work around for r0p0 - r1p0. Unfortunately this

606655cd15 arm64: uprobe: Return EOPNOTSUPP for AARCH32 instruction probing

As stated in linux/errno.h, ENOTSUPP should never be seen by user programs.
When we set up uprobe with 32-bit perf and arm64 kernel, we would see the
following vague error without useful hint.

The sys_perf_event_open() syscall returned with 524 (INTERNAL ERROR:
strerror_r(524, [buf], 128)=22)

Use EOPNOTSUPP instead to indicate such cases.

37b16c8023 crypto: arm64/sha - add missing module aliases

The accelerated, instruction based implementations of SHA1, SHA2 and
SHA3 are autoloaded based on CPU capabilities, given that the code is
modest in size, and widely used, which means that resolving the algo
name, loading all compatible modules and picking the one with the
highest priority is taken to be suboptimal.

However, if these algorithms are requested before this CPU feature
based matching and autoloading occurs, these modules are not even
considered, and we end up with suboptimal performance.

So add the missing module aliases for the various SHA implementations.

73ff5db113 arm64: Add missing ISB after invalidating TLB in __primary_switch

Although there has been a bit of back and forth on the subject, it
appears that invalidating TLBs requires an ISB instruction when FEAT_ETS
is not implemented by the CPU.

3a429d1357 arm64: dts: allwinner: A64: Limit MMC2 bus frequency to 150 MHz

In contrast to the H6 (and later) manuals, the A64 datasheet does not
specify any limitations in the maximum possible frequency for eMMC
controllers.
However experimentation has found that a 150 MHz limit similar to other
SoCs and also the MMC0 and MMC1 controllers on the A64 seems to exist
for the MMC2 controller.

Limit the frequency for the MMC2 controller to 150 MHz in the SoC .dtsi.
The Pinebook seems to be the an odd exception, since it apparently seems
to work with 200 MHz as well, so overwrite this in its board .dts file.

Tested on a Pine64-LTS: 200 MHz HS-200 fails, 150 MHz HS-200 works.

5401debf6e arm64: dts: allwinner: Drop non-removable from SoPine/LTS SD card

The SD card on the SoPine SoM module is somewhat concealed, so was
originally defined as "non-removable".
However there is a working card-detect pin (tested on two different
SoM versions), and in certain SoM base boards it might be actually
accessible at runtime.
Also the Pine64-LTS shares the SoPine base .dtsi, so inherited the
non-removable flag, even though the SD card slot is perfectly accessible
and usable there. (It turns out that just *my* board has a broken card
detect switch, so I originally thought CD wouldn't work on the LTS.)

Drop the "non-removable" flag to describe the SD card slot properly.

1b6c3023fd arm64: dts: allwinner: A64: properly connect USB PHY to port 0

In recent Allwinner SoCs the first USB host controller (HCI0) shares
the first PHY with the MUSB controller. Probably to make this sharing
work, we were avoiding to declare this in the DT. This has two
shortcomings:
- U-Boot (which uses the same .dts) cannot use this port in host mode
  without a PHY linked, so we were loosing one USB port there.
- It requires the MUSB driver to be enabled and loaded, although we
  don't actually use it.

To avoid those issues, let's add this PHY link to the A64 .dtsi file.
After all PHY port 0 *is* connected to HCI0, so we should describe
it as this. Remove the part from the Pinebook DTS which already had
this property.

This makes it work in U-Boot, also improves compatiblity when no MUSB
driver is loaded (for instance in distribution installers).

94c28da48c arm64: tegra: Add power-domain for Tegra210 HDA

HDA initialization is failing occasionally on Tegra210 and following
print is observed in the boot log. Because of this probe() fails and
no sound card is registered.

  [16.800802] tegra-hda 70030000.hda: no codecs found!

Codecs request a state change and enumeration by the controller. In
failure cases this does not seem to happen as STATETS register reads 0.

The problem seems to be related to the HDA codec dependency on SOR
power domain. If it is gated during HDA probe then the failure is
observed. Building Tegra HDA driver into kernel image avoids this
failure but does not completely address the dependency part. Fix this
problem by adding 'power-domains' DT property for Tegra210 HDA. Note
that Tegra186 and Tegra194 HDA do this already.

7e6fd46df5 arm64: dts: rockchip: Fix PCIe DT properties on rk3399

It recently became apparent that the lack of a 'device_type = "pci"'
in the PCIe root complex node for rk3399 is a violation of the PCI
binding, as documented in IEEE Std 1275-1994. Changes to the kernel's
parsing of the DT made such violation fatal, as drivers cannot
probe the controller anymore.

Add the missing property makes the PCIe node compliant. While we
are at it, drop the pointless linux,pci-domain property, which only
makes sense when there are multiple host bridges.

7121c0f813 KVM: arm64: Don't access PMCR_EL0 when no PMU is available
commit 2a5f1b67ec577fb1544b563086e0377f095f88e2 upstream.

We reset the guest's view of PMCR_EL0 unconditionally, based on
the host's view of this register. It is however legal for an
implementation not to provide any PMU, resulting in an UNDEF.

The obvious fix is to skip the reset of this shadow register
when no PMU is available, sidestepping the issue entirely.
If no PMU is available, the guest is not able to request
a virtual PMU anyway, so not doing nothing is the right thing
to do!

It is unlikely that this bug can hit any HW implementation
though, as they all provide a PMU. It has been found using nested
virt with the host KVM not implementing the PMU itself.
