As riscv do not select ARCH_HAS_NON_OVERLAPPING_ADDRESS_SPACE,
the +0($arg2) addr is processed as a kernel address though it is a
userspace address, cause the above filename=(fault) print. So select
ARCH_HAS_NON_OVERLAPPING_ADDRESS_SPACE to avoid the issue, after that the
kprobe trace is ok as below:

3295dc04af KVM: x86: Account fastpath-only VM-Exits in vCPU stats

Increment vcpu->stat.exits when handling a fastpath VM-Exit without
going through any part of the "slow" path.  Not bumping the exits stat
can result in wildly misleading exit counts, e.g. if the primary reason
the guest is exiting is to program the TSC deadline timer.

GCC 11 (incorrectly[1]) assumes that literal values cast to (void *)
should be treated like a NULL pointer with an offset, and raises
diagnostics when doing bounds checking under -Warray-bounds. GCC 12
got "smarter" about finding these:

When unwind instruction is 0xb2,the subsequent instructions
are uleb128 bytes.
For now,it uses only the first uleb128 byte in code.

For vsp increments of 0x204~0x400,use one uleb128 byte like below:

The unwind works well since the decoded uleb128 byte is also 0x81.

In this case,the decoded uleb128 result is 0x101(vsp=0x204+(0x101<<2)).
While the uleb128 used in code is 0x81(vsp=0x204+(0x81<<2)).
The unwind aborts at this frame since it gets incorrect vsp.

To fix this,add uleb128 decode to cover all the above case.

6f449e409b arm64: dts: imx8mn-var-som: fix PHY detection bug by adding deassert delay

While testing the ethernet interface on a Variscite symphony carrier
board using an imx8mn SOM with an onboard ADIN1300 PHY (EC hardware
configuration), the ethernet PHY is not detected.

The ADIN1300 datasheet indicate that the "Management interface
active (t4)" state is reached at most 5ms after the reset signal is
deasserted.

The device tree in Variscite custom git repository uses the following
property:

    phy-reset-post-delay = <20>;

Add a new MDIO property 'reset-deassert-us' of 20ms to have the same
delay inside the ethphy node. Adding this property fixes the problem
with the PHY detection.

Note that this SOM can also have an Atheros AR8033 PHY. In this case,
a 1ms deassert delay is sufficient. Add a comment to that effect.

The commit e335bb51cc15 ("x86/unwind: Ensure stack pointer is aligned")
tried to align the stack pointer in show_trace_log_lvl(), otherwise the
"stack < stack_info.end" check can't guarantee that the last read does
not go past the end of the stack.

However, we have the same problem with the initial value of the stack
pointer, it can also be unaligned. So without this patch this trivial
kernel module

a12ce786be x86/topology: Fix erroneous smp_num_siblings on Intel Hybrid platforms

Traditionally, all CPUs in a system have identical numbers of SMT
siblings.  That changes with hybrid processors where some logical CPUs
have a sibling and others have none.

Today, the CPU boot code sets the global variable smp_num_siblings when
every CPU thread is brought up. The last thread to boot will overwrite
it with the number of siblings of *that* thread. That last thread to
boot will "win". If the thread is a Pcore, smp_num_siblings == 2.  If it
is an Ecore, smp_num_siblings == 1.

smp_num_siblings describes if the *system* supports SMT.  It should
specify the maximum number of SMT threads among all cores.

Ensure that smp_num_siblings represents the system-wide maximum number
of siblings by always increasing its value. Never allow it to decrease.

On MeteorLake-P platform, this fixes a problem that the Ecore CPUs are
not updated in any cpu sibling map because the system is treated as an
UP system when probing Ecore CPUs.

fix, for both Pcore and Ecore CPU (cpu0 is Pcore, cpu 12 is Ecore).

518c39fc1e parisc: Fix flush_dcache_page() for usage from irq context

Since at least kernel 6.1, flush_dcache_page() is called with IRQs
disabled, e.g. from aio_complete().

But the current implementation for flush_dcache_page() on parisc
unintentionally re-enables IRQs, which may lead to deadlocks.

Fix it by using xa_lock_irqsave() and xa_unlock_irqrestore()
for the flush_dcache_mmap_*lock() macros instead.

d4a5e6ae99 x86/mm: Avoid incomplete Global INVLPG flushes

The INVLPG instruction is used to invalidate TLB entries for a
specified virtual address.  When PCIDs are enabled, INVLPG is supposed
to invalidate TLB entries for the specified address for both the
current PCID *and* Global entries.  (Note: Only kernel mappings set
Global=1.)

Unfortunately, some INVLPG implementations can leave Global
translations unflushed when PCIDs are enabled.

As a workaround, never enable PCIDs on affected processors.

I expect there to eventually be microcode mitigations to replace this
software workaround.  However, the exact version numbers where that
will happen are not known today.  Once the version numbers are set in
stone, the processor list can be tweaked to only disable PCIDs on
affected processors with affected microcode.

Note: if anyone wants a quick fix that doesn't require patching, just
stick 'nopcid' on your kernel command-line.

89eba5586a m68k: Move signal frame following exception on 68020/030

On 68030/020, an instruction such as, moveml %a2-%a3/%a5,%sp@- may cause
a stack page fault during instruction execution (i.e. not at an
instruction boundary) and produce a format 0xB exception frame.

In this situation, the value of USP will be unreliable.  If a signal is
to be delivered following the exception, this USP value is used to
calculate the location for a signal frame.  This can result in a
corrupted user stack.

The corruption was detected in dash (actually in glibc) where it showed
up as an intermittent "stack smashing detected" message and crash
following signal delivery for SIGCHLD.

It was hard to reproduce that failure because delivery of the signal
raced with the page fault and because the kernel places an unpredictable
gap of up to 7 bytes between the USP and the signal frame.

A format 0xB exception frame can be produced by a bus error or an
address error.  The 68030 Users Manual says that address errors occur
immediately upon detection during instruction prefetch.  The instruction
pipeline allows prefetch to overlap with other instructions, which means
an address error can arise during the execution of a different
instruction.  So it seems likely that this patch may help in the address
error case also.

710dee5701 powerpc/64s/radix: Fix soft dirty tracking

It was reported that soft dirty tracking doesn't work when using the
Radix MMU.

The tracking is supposed to work by clearing the soft dirty bit for a
mapping and then write protecting the PTE. If/when the page is written
to, a page fault occurs and the soft dirty bit is added back via
pte_mkdirty(). For example in wp_page_reuse():

	entry = maybe_mkwrite(pte_mkdirty(entry), vma);
	if (ptep_set_access_flags(vma, vmf->address, vmf->pte, entry, 1))
		update_mmu_cache(vma, vmf->address, vmf->pte);

Unfortunately on radix _PAGE_SOFTDIRTY is being dropped by
radix__ptep_set_access_flags(), called from ptep_set_access_flags(),
meaning the soft dirty bit is not set even though the page has been
written to.

Fix it by adding _PAGE_SOFTDIRTY to the set of bits that are able to be
changed in radix__ptep_set_access_flags().

because well-tuned guests will hardly ever exit KVM_RUN in the first place.

atomic, thus it would be a bug if KVM tried to resolve a new pfn, i.e.

In 64-bit mode, x86 instruction encoding allows us to use the low 8 bits
of any GPR as an 8-bit operand. In 32-bit mode, however, we can only use
the [abcd] registers. For which, GCC has the "q" constraint instead of
the less restrictive "r".

Also fix st->preempted, which is an input/output operand rather than an
input.

In commit b043138246a4 ("x86/KVM: Make sure KVM_VCPU_FLUSH_TLB flag is
not missed") we switched to using a gfn_to_pfn_cache for accessing the
guest steal time structure in order to allow for an atomic xchg of the
preempted field. This has a couple of problems.

Firstly, kvm_map_gfn() doesn't work at all for IOMEM pages when the
atomic flag is set, which it is in kvm_steal_time_set_preempted(). So a
guest vCPU using an IOMEM page for its steal time would never have its
preempted field set.

Secondly, the gfn_to_pfn_cache is not invalidated in all cases where it
should have been. There are two stages to the GFN->PFN conversion;
first the GFN is converted to a userspace HVA, and then that HVA is
looked up in the process page tables to find the underlying host PFN.
Correct invalidation of the latter would require being hooked up to the
MMU notifiers, but that doesn't happen---so it just keeps mapping and
unmapping the *wrong* PFN after the userspace page tables change.

In the !IOMEM case at least the stale page *is* pinned all the time it's
cached, so it won't be freed and reused by anyone else while still
receiving the steal time updates. The map/unmap dance only takes care
of the KVM administrivia such as marking the page dirty.

Until the gfn_to_pfn cache handles the remapping automatically by
integrating with the MMU notifiers, we might as well not get a
kernel mapping of it, and use the perfectly serviceable userspace HVA
that we already have.  We just need to implement the atomic xchg on
the userspace address with appropriate exception handling, which is
fairly trivial.

529f41f0eb KVM: x86: do not report a vCPU as preempted outside instruction boundaries

If a vCPU is outside guest mode and is scheduled out, it might be in the
process of making a memory access.  A problem occurs if another vCPU uses
the PV TLB flush feature during the period when the vCPU is scheduled
out, and a virtual address has already been translated but has not yet
been accessed, because this is equivalent to using a stale TLB entry.

To avoid this, only report a vCPU as preempted if sure that the guest
is at an instruction boundary.  A rescheduling request will be delivered
to the host physical CPU as an external interrupt, so for simplicity
consider any vmexit *not* instruction boundary except for external
interrupts.

It would in principle be okay to report the vCPU as preempted also
if it is sleeping in kvm_vcpu_block(): a TLB flush IPI will incur the
vmentry/vmexit overhead unnecessarily, and optimistic spinning is
also unlikely to succeed.  However, leave it for later because right
now kvm_vcpu_check_block() is doing memory accesses.  Even
though the TLB flush issue only applies to virtual memory address,
it's very much preferrable to be conservative.

currently dynamically allocates cpumask on each call and this is suboptimal.
Both kvm_make_all_cpus_request() and kvm_make_vcpus_request_mask() are
going to be switched to using pre-allocated per-cpu masks.

__setup() handlers should return 1 to obsolete_checksetup() in
init/main.c to indicate that the boot option has been handled.
A return of 0 causes the boot option/value to be listed as an Unknown
kernel parameter and added to init's (limited) argument or environment
strings. Also, error return codes don't mean anything to
obsolete_checksetup() -- only non-zero (usually 1) or zero.
So return 1 from nmi_debug_setup().

While stressing EAS on my dragonboard RB3, I have noticed that LITTLE cores
where never selected as the most energy efficient CPU whatever the
utilization level of waking task.

energy model framework uses its cost field to estimate the energy with
the formula:

  nrg = cost of the selected OPP * utilization / CPU's max capacity

which ends up selecting the CPU with lowest cost / max capacity ration
as long as the utilization fits in the OPP's capacity.

If we compare the cost of a little OPP with similar capacity of a big OPP
like :
       OPP(kHz)   OPP capacity    cost     max capacity   cost/max capacity
LITTLE 1766400    407             351114   407            863
big    1056000    408             520267   1024           508

This can be interpreted as the LITTLE core consumes 70% more than big core
for the same compute capacity.

According to [1], LITTLE consumes 10% less than big core for Coremark
benchmark at those OPPs. If we consider that everything else stays
unchanged, the dynamic-power-coefficient of LITTLE core should be
only 53% of the current value: 290 * 53% = 154

Set the dynamic-power-coefficient of CPU0-3 to 154 to fix the energy model.

3f225f29c6 arm64: Stash shadow stack pointer in the task struct on interrupt
commit 59b37fe52f49955791a460752c37145f1afdcad1 upstream.

Instead of reloading the shadow call stack pointer from the ordinary
stack, which may be vulnerable to the kind of gadget based attacks
shadow call stacks were designed to prevent, let's store a task's shadow
call stack pointer in the task struct when switching to the shadow IRQ
stack.

Given that currently, the task_struct::scs_sp field is only used to
preserve the shadow call stack pointer while a task is scheduled out or
running in user space, reusing this field to preserve and restore it
while running off the IRQ stack must be safe, as those occurrences are
guaranteed to never overlap. (The stack switching logic only switches
stacks when running from the task stack, and so the value being saved
here always corresponds to the task mode shadow stack)

While at it, fold a mov/add/mov sequence into a single add.

9134b5a464 arm64: Always load shadow stack pointer directly from the task struct
commit 2198d07c509f1db4a1185d1f65aaada794c6ea59 upstream.

All occurrences of the scs_load macro load the value of the shadow call
stack pointer from the task which is current at that point. So instead
of taking a task struct register argument in the scs_load macro to
specify the task struct to load from, let's always reference the current
task directly. This should make it much harder to exploit any
instruction sequences reloading the shadow call stack pointer register
from memory.

8f009ae90b openrisc: Properly store r31 to pt_regs on unhandled exceptions

In commit 91993c8c2ed5 ("openrisc: use shadow registers to save regs on
exception") the unhandled exception path was changed to do an early
store of r30 instead of r31.  The entry code was not updated and r31 is
not getting stored to pt_regs.

This patch updates the entry handler to store r31 instead of r30.  We
also remove some misleading commented out store r30 and r31
instructrions.

I noticed this while working on adding floating point exception
handling,  This issue probably would never impact anything since we kill
the process or Oops right away on unhandled exceptions.

3ea9186a3e powerpc/rtas: use memmove for potentially overlapping buffer copy

Using memcpy() isn't safe when buf is identical to rtas_err_buf, which
can happen during boot before slab is up. Full context which may not
be obvious from the diff:

This was found by inspection and I'm not aware of it causing problems
in practice. It appears to have been introduced by commit
033ef338b6e0 ("powerpc: Merge rtas.c into arch/powerpc/kernel"); the
old ppc64 version of this code did not have this problem.

Use memmove() instead.

95d97e182d sh: sq: Fix incorrect element size for allocating bitmap buffer

The Store Queue code allocates a bitmap buffer with the size of
multiple of sizeof(long) in sq_api_init(). While the buffer size
is calculated correctly, the code uses the wrong element size to
allocate the buffer which results in the allocated bitmap buffer
being too small.

Fix this by allocating the buffer with kcalloc() with element size
sizeof(long) instead of kzalloc() whose elements size defaults to
sizeof(char).
