[ Upstream commit 3327d721114c109ba0575f86f8fda3b525404054 ]

The node returned by of_parse_phandle() with refcount incremented,
of_node_put() needs be called when finish using it. So add it in the
error path in mt8173_rt5650_rt5514_dev_probe().

[ Upstream commit 5c8cc93b06d1ff860327a273abf3ac006290d242 ]

When a PCM trigger-start fails at snd_pcm_do_start(), PCM core tries
to undo the action at snd_pcm_undo_start() by issuing the trigger STOP
manually. At that point, we forgot to set the stop_operating flag,
hence the sync-stop won't be issued at the next prepare or other
calls.

This patch adds the missing stop_operating flag at
snd_pcm_undo_start().

[ Upstream commit 8c32984bc7da29828260ac514d5d4967f7e8f62d ]

When registering the mt8173-afe-pcm driver, we are also adding two
components: one is for the PCM DAIs and one is for the HDMI DAIs, but
when debugfs is enabled, we're getting the following issue:

[ 17.279176] debugfs: Directory '11220000.audio-controller' with parent 'mtk-rt5650' already present!
[ 17.288345] debugfs: Directory '11220000.audio-controller' with parent 'mtk-rt5650' already present!

To overcome to that without any potentially big rewrite of this driver,
similarly to what was done in mt8195-afe-pcm, add a debugfs_prefix to
the components before actually adding them.

[ Upstream commit 05530ef7cf7c7d700f6753f058999b1b5099a026 ]

With clang's kernel control flow integrity (kCFI, CONFIG_CFI_CLANG),
indirect call targets are validated against the expected function
pointer prototype to make sure the call target is valid to help mitigate
ROP attacks. If they are not identical, there is a failure at run time,
which manifests as either a kernel panic or thread getting killed.

seq_copy_in_user() and seq_copy_in_kernel() did not have prototypes
matching snd_seq_dump_func_t. Adjust this and remove the casts. There
are not resulting binary output differences.

This was found as a result of Clang's new -Wcast-function-type-strict
flag, which is more sensitive than the simpler -Wcast-function-type,
which only checks for type width mismatches.

[ Upstream commit 39bd801d6908900e9ab0cdc2655150f95ddd4f1a ]

The DAI tx_mask and rx_mask are set by snd_soc_dai_set_tdm_slot()
and used by later code that depends on the TDM settings. So
__soc_pcm_open() should not be obliterating those mask values.

The code in __soc_pcm_hw_params() uses these masks to calculate the
active channels so that only the AIF_IN/AIF_OUT widgets for the
active TDM slots are enabled. The zeroing of the masks in
__soc_pcm_open() disables this functionality so all AIF widgets
were enabled even for channels that are not assigned to a TDM slot.

snd_usbmidi_output_open() has a check of the NULL port with
snd_BUG_ON(). snd_BUG_ON() was used as this shouldn't have happened,
but in reality, the NULL port may be seen when the device gives an
invalid endpoint setup at the descriptor, hence the driver skips the
allocation. That is, the check itself is valid and snd_BUG_ON()
should be dropped from there. Otherwise it's confusing as if it were
a real bug, as recently syzbot stumbled on it.

[ Upstream commit 91502a9a0b0d5252cf3f32ebd898823c2f5aadab ]

There are several PCI ids associated with HP EliteBook 855 G8 Notebook
PC. Commit 0e68c4b11f1e6 ("ALSA: hda/realtek: fix mute/micmute LEDs for
HP 855 G8") covers 0x103c:0x8896, while this commit covers 0x103c:0x8895
which needs some additional work on top of the quirk from 0e68c4b11f1e6.

Note that the device can boot up with working speakers and micmute LED
without this patch, but the success rate would be quite low (order of
16 working boots across 709 boots) at least for the built-in drivers
scenario. This also means that there are some timing issues during early
boot and this patch is a workaround.

With this patch applied speakers and headphones are consistenly working,
as well as mute/micmute LEDs and the internal microphone.

c7432616f6 ASoC: mt6660: Keep the pm_runtime enables before component stuff in mt6660_i2c_probe
[ Upstream commit c4ab29b0f3a6f1e167c5a627f7cd036c1d2b7d65 ]

It would be better to keep the pm_runtime enables before the
IRQ and component stuff. Both of those could start triggering
PM runtime events.

commit 9a5523f72bd2b0d66eef3d58810c6eb7b5ffc143 upstream.

As 'kobject_add' may allocated memory for 'kobject->name' when return error.
And in this function, if call 'kobject_add' failed didn't free kobject.
So call 'kobject_put' to recycling resources.
