38a82c8d00 f2fs: remove clear SB_INLINECRYPT flag in default_options
[ Upstream commit ac5eecf481c29942eb9a862e758c0c8b68090c33 ]

In f2fs_remount, SB_INLINECRYPT flag will be clear and re-set.
If create new file or open file during this gap, these files
will not use inlinecrypt. Worse case, it may lead to data
corruption if wrappedkey_v0 is enable.

- f2fs_io release_cblocks /mnt/f2fs/file

[FSCK] other corrupted bugs                           [Fail]

The reason is: partial truncation assume compressed inode has reserved
blocks, after partial truncation, valid block count may change w/o
.i_blocks and .total_valid_block_count update, result in corruption.

This patch only allow cluster size aligned truncation on released

d992b78026 f2fs: fix to force keeping write barrier for strict fsync mode
[ Upstream commit 2787991516468bfafafb9bf2b45a848e6b202e7c ]

[1] https://www.mail-archive.com/linux-f2fs-devel@lists.sourceforge.net/msg15126.html

As [1] reported, if lower device doesn't support write barrier, in below
case:

- write page #0; persist
- overwrite page #0
- fsync
 - write data page #0 OPU into device's cache
 - write inode page into device's cache
 - issue flush

If SPO is triggered during flush command, inode page can be persisted
before data page #0, so that after recovery, inode page can be recovered
with new physical block address of data page #0, however there may
contains dummy data in new physical block address.

Then what user will see is: after overwrite & fsync + SPO, old data in
file was corrupted, if any user do care about such case, we can suggest
user to use STRICT fsync mode, in this mode, we will force to use atomic
write sematics to keep write order in between data/node and last node,
so that it avoids potential data corruption during fsync().

We will add a new "compress_mode" mount option to control file
compression mode. This supports "fs" and "user". In "fs" mode (default),
f2fs does automatic compression on the compression enabled files.
In "user" mode, f2fs disables the automaic compression and gives the
user discretion of choosing the target file and the timing. It means
the user can do manual compression/decompression on the compression
enabled files using ioctls.

3e47740091 f2fs: explicitly null-terminate the xattr list

When setting an xattr, explicitly null-terminate the xattr list. This

c041f5ddef f2fs: avoid format-overflow warning
commit e0d4e8acb3789c5a8651061fbab62ca24a45c063 upstream.

With gcc and W=1 option, there's a warning like this:

fs/f2fs/compress.c: In function ‘f2fs_init_page_array_cache’:
fs/f2fs/compress.c:1984:47: error: ‘%u’ directive writing between
1 and 7 bytes into a region of size between 5 and 8

String "f2fs_page_array_entry-%u:%u" can up to 35. The first "%u" can up
to 4 and the second "%u" can up to 7, so total size is "24 + 4 + 7 = 35".
slab_name's size should be 35 rather than 32.

The root cause is for special file: e.g. character, block, fifo or socket file,
f2fs doesn't assign address space operations pointer array for mapping->a_ops field,
so, in a fuzzed image, SSA table indicates a data block belong to special file, when
f2fs tries to migrate that block, it causes NULL pointer access once move_data_page()
calls a_ops->set_dirty_page().

The root cause is below race case can cause leaving dirty metadata
in f2fs after filesystem is remount as ro:

Thread A				Thread B

 - f2fs_resize_fs
					- f2fs_remount
					 - write_checkpoint
					 - set f2fs as ro

Then, if f2fs_put_super() fails to write_checkpoint due to readonly

e9f20138b5 f2fs: fix cgroup writeback accounting with fs-layer encryption
commit 844545c51a5b2a524b22a2fe9d0b353b827d24b4 upstream.

When writing a page from an encrypted file that is using
filesystem-layer encryption (not inline encryption), f2fs encrypts the
pagecache page into a bounce page, then writes the bounce page.

It also passes the bounce page to wbc_account_cgroup_owner(). That's
incorrect, because the bounce page is a newly allocated temporary page
that doesn't have the memory cgroup of the original pagecache page.
This makes wbc_account_cgroup_owner() not account the I/O to the owner
of the pagecache page as it should.

Fix this by always passing the pagecache page to
wbc_account_cgroup_owner().

00b5587326 f2fs: fix information leak in f2fs_move_inline_dirents()
commit 9a5571cff4ffcfc24847df9fd545cc5799ac0ee5 upstream.

When converting an inline directory to a regular one, f2fs is leaking
uninitialized memory to disk because it doesn't initialize the entire
directory block. Fix this by zero-initializing the block.

This bug was introduced by commit 4ec17d688d74 ("f2fs: avoid unneeded
initializing when converting inline dentry"), which didn't consider the
security implications of leaking uninitialized memory to disk.

This was found by running xfstest generic/435 on a KMSAN-enabled kernel.

25a8dabaab f2fs: avoid victim selection from previous victim section
[ Upstream commit e219aecfd4b766c4e878a3769057e9809f7fcadc ]

When f2fs chooses GC victim in large section & LFS mode,
next_victim_seg[gc_type] is referenced first. After segment is freed,
next_victim_seg[gc_type] has the next segment number.
However, next_victim_seg[gc_type] still has the last segment number
even after the last segment of section is freed. In this case, when f2fs
chooses a victim for the next GC round, the last segment of previous victim
section is chosen as a victim.

Initialize next_victim_seg[gc_type] to NULL_SEGNO for the last segment in
large section.

ef8e236832 f2fs: fix normal discard process
[ Upstream commit b5f1a218ae5e4339130d6e733f0e63d623e09a2c ]

In the DPOLICY_BG mode, there is a conflict between
the two conditions "i + 1 < dpolicy->granularity" and
"i < DEFAULT_DISCARD_GRANULARITY". If i = 15, the first
condition is false, it will enter the second condition
and dispatch all small granularity discards in function
 __issue_discard_cmd_orderly. The restrictive effect
of the first condition to small discards will be
invalidated. These two conditions should align.

f1acf7e693 f2fs: Fix the race condition of resize flag between resizefs
[ Upstream commit 28fc4e9077ce59ab28c89c20dc6be5154473218f ]

Because the set/clear SBI_IS_RESIZEFS flag not between any locks,
In the following case:
  thread1			thread2
   ->ioctl(resizefs)
    ->set RESIZEFS flag		 ->ioctl(resizefs)
    ...                   	  ->set RESIZEFS flag
    ->clear RESIZEFS flag
    				  ->resizefs stream
				    # No RESIZEFS flag in the stream

Also before freeze_super, the resizefs not started, we should not set
the SBI_IS_RESIZEFS flag.

So move the set/clear SBI_IS_RESIZEFS flag between the cp_mutex and
gc_lock.
