__getblk() can return a NULL pointer if we run out of memory or if we
try to access beyond the end of the device; check it and handle it
appropriately.

Reiserfs sets a security xattr at inode creation time in two stages: first,
it calls reiserfs_security_init() to obtain the xattr from active LSMs;
then, it calls reiserfs_security_write() to actually write that xattr.
Unfortunately, it seems there is a wrong expectation that LSMs provide the
full xattr name in the form 'security.<suffix>'. However, LSMs always
provided just the suffix, causing reiserfs to not write the xattr at all
(if the suffix is shorter than the prefix), or to write an xattr with the
wrong name.
Add a temporary buffer in reiserfs_security_write(), and write to it the
full xattr name, before passing it to reiserfs_xattr_set_handle().
Also replace the name length check with a check that the full xattr name is
not larger than XATTR_NAME_MAX.

Since the commit c3d98ea08291 ("VFS: Don't use save/replace_mount_options
if not using generic_show_options") eliminates replace_mount_options
in reiserfs_remount, but does not handle the allocated new_opts,
it will cause memory leak in the reiserfs_remount.
Because new_opts is useless in reiserfs_mount, so we fix this bug by
removing the useless new_opts in reiserfs_remount.

Commit 57fe60df6241 ("reiserfs: add atomic addition of selinux attributes
during inode creation") defined reiserfs_security_free() to free the name
and value of a security xattr allocated by the active LSM through
security_old_inode_init_security(). However, this function is not called
in the reiserfs code.
Thus, add a call to reiserfs_security_free() whenever
reiserfs_security_init() is called, and initialize value to NULL, to avoid
to call kfree() on an uninitialized pointer.
Finally, remove the kfree() for the xattr name, as it is not allocated
anymore.

While verifying the leaf item that we read from the disk, reiserfs
doesn't check the directory items, this could cause a crash when we
read a directory item from the disk that has an invalid deh_location.
This patch adds a check to the directory items read from the disk that
does a bounds check on deh_location for the directory entries. Any
directory entry header with a directory entry offset greater than the
item length is considered invalid.

syzbot reported divide error in reiserfs.
The problem was in incorrect journal 1st block.
Syzbot's reproducer manualy generated wrong superblock
with incorrect 1st block. In journal_init() wasn't
any checks about this particular case.
For example, if 1st journal block is before superblock
1st block, it can cause zeroing important superblock members
in do_journal_end().

syzbot is reporting NULL pointer dereference at reiserfs_security_init()
[1], for commit ab17c4f02156c4f7 ("reiserfs: fixup xattr_root caching")
is assuming that REISERFS_SB(s)->xattr_root != NULL in
reiserfs_xattr_jcreate_nblocks() despite that commit made
REISERFS_SB(sb)->priv_root != NULL && REISERFS_SB(s)->xattr_root == NULL
case possible.
I guess that commit 6cb4aff0a77cc0e6 ("reiserfs: fix oops while creating
privroot with selinux enabled") wanted to check xattr_root != NULL
before reiserfs_xattr_jcreate_nblocks(), for the changelog is talking
about the xattr root.
The issue is that while creating the privroot during mount
reiserfs_security_init calls reiserfs_xattr_jcreate_nblocks which
dereferences the xattr root. The xattr root doesn't exist, so we get
an oops.
Therefore, update reiserfs_xattrs_initialized() to check both the
privroot and the xattr root.

There is no good reason for __bdevname to exist. Just open code
printing the string in the callers. For three of them the format
string can be trivially merged into existing printk statements,
and in init/do_mounts.c we can at least do the scnprintf once at
the start of the function, and unconditional of CONFIG_BLOCK to
make the output for tiny configfs a little more helpful.

The variable inode may be NULL in reiserfs_insert_item(), but there is
no check before accessing the member of inode.

Commit 60e4cf67a58 (reiserfs: fix extended attributes on the root
directory) introduced a regression open_xa_root started returning
-EOPNOTSUPP but it was not handled properly in reiserfs_for_each_xattr.
When the reiserfs module is built without CONFIG_REISERFS_FS_XATTR,
deleting an inode would result in a warning and chowning an inode
would also result in a warning and then fail to complete.
With CONFIG_REISERFS_FS_XATTR enabled, the xattr root would always be
present for read-write operations.
This commit handles -EOPNOSUPP in the same way -ENODATA is handled.

When we fail to allocate string for journal device name we jump to
'error' label which tries to unlock reiserfs write lock which is not
held. Jump to 'error_unlocked' instead.

When a filesystem is mounted with jdev mount option, we store the
journal device name in an allocated string in superblock. However we
fail to ever free that string. Fix it.

Since commit d0a5b995a308 (vfs: Add IOP_XATTR inode operations flag)
extended attributes haven't worked on the root directory in reiserfs.
This is due to reiserfs conditionally setting the sb->s_xattrs handler
array depending on whether it located or create the internal privroot
directory. It necessarily does this after the root inode is already
read in. The IOP_XATTR flag is set during inode initialization, so
it never gets set on the root directory.
This commit unconditionally assigns sb->s_xattrs and clears IOP_XATTR on
internal inodes. The old return values due to the conditional assignment
are handled via open_xa_root, which now returns EOPNOTSUPP as the VFS
would have done.

Create a generic function to check incoming FS_IOC_SETFLAGS flag values
and later prepare the inode for updates so that we can standardize the
implementations that follow ext4's flag values.
Note that the efivarfs implementation no longer fails a no-op SETFLAGS
without CAP_LINUX_IMMUTABLE since that's the behavior in ext*.

csum_partial() gives different results for little-endian and big-endian
hosts. This causes images created on little-endian hosts and mounted on
big endian hosts to see csum mismatches. This causes an endianness bug.
Sparse gives a warning as csum_partial returns a restricted integer type
__wsum_t and xattr_hash expects __u32. This warning acts as a reminder
for this bug and should not be suppressed.
This comment aims to convey these endianness issues.
