2b0a093cdf mmc: sdhci-esdhc-imx: improve ESDHC_FLAG_ERR010450
[ Upstream commit 5ae4b0d887 ]

Errata ERR010450 only shows up if voltage is 1.8V, but if the device is
supplied by 3v3 the errata can be ignored. So let's check for if quirk
SDHCI_QUIRK2_NO_1_8_V is defined or not before limiting the frequency.

8d68582b93 mmc: renesas_sdhi: register irqs before registering controller
commit 74f45de394 upstream.

IRQs should be ready to serve when we call mmc_add_host() via
tmio_mmc_host_probe(). To achieve that, ensure that all irqs are masked
before registering the handlers.

da95090821 mmc: au1xmmc: force non-modular build and remove symbol_get usage
commit d4a5c59a95 upstream.

au1xmmc is split somewhat awkwardly into the main mmc subsystem driver,
and callbacks in platform_data that sit under arch/mips/ and are
always built in. The latter than call mmc_detect_change through
symbol_get. Remove the use of symbol_get by requiring the driver
to be built in. In the future the interrupt handlers for card
insert/eject detection should probably be moved into the main driver,
and which point it can be built modular again.

a798977df6 mmc: sdhci-f-sdh30: Replace with sdhci_pltfm
[ Upstream commit 5def5c1c15 ]

Even if sdhci_pltfm_pmops is specified for PM, this driver doesn't apply
sdhci_pltfm, so the structure is not correctly referenced in PM functions.
This applies sdhci_pltfm to this driver to fix this issue.

- Call sdhci_pltfm_init() instead of sdhci_alloc_host() and
  other functions that covered by sdhci_pltfm.
- Move ops and quirks to sdhci_pltfm_data
- Replace sdhci_priv() with own private function sdhci_f_sdh30_priv().

99d0599742 mmc: sdhci: fix DMA configure compatibility issue when 64bit DMA mode is used.
commit 20dbd07ef0 upstream.

Bayhub SD host has hardware limitation:
1.The upper 32bit address is inhibited to be written at SD Host Register
  [03E][13]=0 (32bits addressing) mode, is admitted to be written only at
  SD Host Register [03E][13]=1 (64bits addressing) mode.
2.Because of above item#1, need to configure SD Host Register [03E][13] to
  1(64bits addressing mode) before set 64bit ADMA system address's higher
  32bits SD Host Register [05F~05C] if 64 bits addressing mode is used.

The hardware limitation is reasonable for below reasons:
1.Normal flow should set DMA working mode first, then do
  DMA-transfer-related configuration, such as system address.
2.The hardware limitation may avoid the software to configure wrong higher
  32bit address at 32bits addressing mode although it is redundant.

The change that set 32bits/64bits addressing mode before set ADMA address,
  has no side-effect to other host IPs for below reason:
The setting order is reasonable and standard: DMA Mode setting first and
  then DMA address setting. It meets all DMA setting sequence.

00010b52c7 mmc: sdhci-msm: Disable broken 64-bit DMA on MSM8916
commit e6f9e590b7 upstream.

While SDHCI claims to support 64-bit DMA on MSM8916 it does not seem to
be properly functional. It is not immediately obvious because SDHCI is
usually used with IOMMU bypassed on this SoC, and all physical memory
has 32-bit addresses. But when trying to enable the IOMMU it quickly
fails with an error such as the following:

Looking closely it's obvious that only the 32-bit part of the address
(0xfffff200) arrives at the SMMU, the higher 16-bit (0xffff...) get
lost somewhere. This might not be a limitation of the SDHCI itself but
perhaps the bus/interconnect it is connected to, or even the connection
to the SMMU.

Work around this by setting SDHCI_QUIRK2_BROKEN_64_BIT_DMA to avoid
using 64-bit addresses.

3cfaa8713e mmc: sdhci-of-esdhc: fix quirk to ignore command inhibit for data
[ Upstream commit 0dd8316037 ]

If spec_reg is equal to 'SDHCI_PRESENT_STATE', esdhc_readl_fixup()
fixes up register value and returns it immediately. As a result, the
further block
(spec_reg == SDHCI_PRESENT_STATE)

The patch merges the second block into the first one.

4392e87c47 mmc: atmel-mci: fix race between stop command and start of next command
[ Upstream commit eca5bd666b ]

This commit fixes a race between completion of stop command and start of a
new command.
Previously the command ready interrupt was enabled before stop command
was written to the command register. This caused the command ready
interrupt to fire immediately since the CMDRDY flag is asserted constantly
while there is no command in progress.
Consequently the command state machine will immediately advance to the
next state when the tasklet function is executed again, no matter
actual completion state of the stop command.
Thus a new command can then be dispatched immediately, interrupting and
corrupting the stop command on the CMD line.
Fix that by dropping the command ready interrupt enable before calling
atmci_send_stop_cmd. atmci_send_stop_cmd does already enable the
command ready interrupt, no further writes to ATMCI_IER are necessary.

88fa6a4e39 mmc: mmci: fix return value check of mmc_add_host()
[ Upstream commit b38a20f29a ]

mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value,
it will lead two issues:
1. The memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() is leaked.
2. In the remove() path, mmc_remove_host() will be called to
   delete device, but it's not added yet, it will lead a kernel
   crash because of null-ptr-deref in device_del().

So fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which
will call mmc_free_host().
