If server returned no data for FSCTL_DFS_GET_REFERRALS, @dfs_rsp will
remain NULL and then parse_dfs_referrals() will dereference it.
Fix this by returning -EIO when no output data is returned.
Besides, we can't fix it in SMB2_ioctl() as some FSCTLs are allowed to
return no data as per MS-SMB2 2.2.32.

commit 69513dd669e243928f7450893190915a88f84a2b upstream.
Under the current code, when cifs_readpage_worker is called, the call
contract is that the callee should unlock the page. This is documented
in the read_folio section of Documentation/filesystems/vfs.rst as:
> The filesystem should unlock the folio once the read has completed,
> whether it was successful or not.
Without this change, when fscache is in use and cache hit occurs during
a read, the page lock is leaked, producing the following stack on
subsequent reads (via mmap) to the page:
$ cat /proc/3890/task/12864/stack
[<0>] folio_wait_bit_common+0x124/0x350
[<0>] filemap_read_folio+0xad/0xf0
[<0>] filemap_fault+0x8b1/0xab0
[<0>] __do_fault+0x39/0x150
[<0>] do_fault+0x25c/0x3e0

[<0>] handle_mm_fault+0xe9/0x350

[<0>] exc_page_fault+0x84/0x1b0
[<0>] asm_exc_page_fault+0x27/0x30
This requires a reboot to resolve; it is a deadlock.
Note however that the call to cifs_readpage_from_fscache does mark the
page clean, but does not free the folio lock. This happens in
__cifs_readpage_from_fscache on success. Releasing the lock at that
point however is not appropriate as cifs_readahead also calls
cifs_readpage_from_fscache and *does* unconditionally release the lock
after its return. This change therefore effectively makes
cifs_readpage_worker work like cifs_readahead.

commit cb8b02fd6343228966324528adf920bfb8b8e681 upstream.
There are two ways that special characters (not allowed in some
other operating systems like Windows, but allowed in POSIX) have
been mapped in the past ("SFU" and "SFM" mappings) to allow them
to be stored in a range reserved for special chars. The default
for Linux has been to use "mapposix" (ie the SFM mapping) but
the conversion to the new mount API in the 5.11 kernel broke
the ability to override the default mapping of the reserved
characters (like '?' and '*' and '\') via "mapchars" mount option.
This patch fixes that - so can now mount with "mapchars"
mount option to override the default ("mapposix" ie SFM) mapping.

In cifs_oplock_break function we drop reference to a cfile at
the end of function, due to which close command goes on wire
after lease break acknowledgment even if file is already closed

If other client with limited file shareaccess waiting on lease
break ack proceeds operation on that file as soon as first client
sends ack, then we may encounter status sharing violation error
because of open handle.
Solution is to put reference to cfile(send close on wire if last ref)
and then send oplock acknowledgment to server.

commit 47592fa8eb03742048b096b4696ec133384c45eb upstream.
Oplock break may occur for different file handle than the deferred
handle. Check for inode deferred closes list, if it's not empty then
close all the deferred handles of inode because we should not cache
handles if we dont have handle lease.
Eg: If openfilelist has one deferred file handle and another open file
handle from app for a same file, then on a lease break we choose the
first handle in openfile list. The first handle in list can be deferred
handle or actual open file handle from app. In case if it is actual open
handle then today, we don't close deferred handles if we lose handle lease
on a file. Problem with this is, later if app decides to close the existing
open handle then we still be caching deferred handles until deferred close
timeout. Leaving open handle may result in sharing violation when windows
client tries to open a file with limited file share access.
So we should check for deferred list of inode and walk through the list of
deferred files in inode and close all deferred files.

commit 2cb6f968775a9fd60c90a6042b9550bcec3ea087 upstream.
In investigating a failure with xfstest generic/392 it
was noticed that mounts were reusing a superblock that should
already have been freed. This turned out to be related to
deferred close files keeping a reference count until the
closetimeo expired.
Currently the only way an fs knows that mount is beginning is
when force unmount is called, but when this, ie umount_begin(),
is called all deferred close files on the share (tree
connection) should be closed immediately (unless shared by
another mount) to avoid using excess resources on the server
and to avoid reusing a superblock which should already be freed.
In umount_begin, close all deferred close handles for that
share if this is the last mount using that share on this
client (ie send the SMB3 close request over the wire for those
that have been already closed by the app but that we have
kept a handle lease open for and have not sent closes to the
server for yet).

Deferred close can be a very useful feature for allowing
caching data for read, and for minimizing the number of
reopens needed for a file that is repeatedly opened and
close but there are workloads where its default (1 second,
similar to actimeo/acregmax) is much too small.
Allow the user to configure the amount of time we can
defer sending the final smb3 close when we have a
handle lease on the file (rather than forcing it to depend
on value of actimeo which is often unrelated, and less safe).
Adds new mount parameter "closetimeo=" which is the maximum
number of seconds we can wait before sending an SMB3
close when we have a handle lease for it. Default value
also is set to slightly larger at 5 seconds (although some
other clients use larger default this should still help).

commit 179a88a8558bbf42991d361595281f3e45d7edfc upstream.
When compiled with CONFIG_CIFS_DFS_UPCALL disabled, cifs_dfs_d_automount
is NULL. cifs.ko logic for mapping CIFS_FATTR_DFS_REFERRAL attributes to
S_AUTOMOUNT and corresponding dentry flags is retained regardless of
CONFIG_CIFS_DFS_UPCALL, leading to a NULL pointer dereference in
VFS follow_automount() when traversing a DFS referral link:

This fix adds an inline cifs_dfs_d_automount() {return -EREMOTE} handler
when CONFIG_CIFS_DFS_UPCALL is disabled. An alternative would be to
avoid flagging S_AUTOMOUNT, etc. without CONFIG_CIFS_DFS_UPCALL. This
approach was chosen as it provides more control over the error path.

commit 30b2b2196d6e4cc24cbec633535a2404f258ce69 upstream.
On async reads, page data is allocated before sending. When the
response is received but it has no data to fill (e.g.
STATUS_END_OF_FILE), __calc_signature() will still include the pages in
its computation, leading to an invalid signature check.
This patch fixes this by not setting the async read smb_rqst page data
(zeroed by default) if its got_bytes is 0.
This can be reproduced/verified with xfstests generic/465.

This is because in scatterwalk_copychunks(), we attempted to write to
a buffer (@sign) that was allocated in the stack (vmalloc area) by
crypt_message() and thus accessing its remaining 8 (x2) bytes ended up
crossing a page boundary.
To simply fix it, we could just pass @sign kmalloc'd from
crypt_message() and then we're done. Luckily, we don't seem to pass
any other vmalloc'd buffers in smb_rqst::rq_iov...
Instead, let's map the correct pages and offsets from vmalloc buffers
as well in cifs_sg_set_buf() and then avoiding such oopses.

commit 65de262a209da0951eb9bc60b3b7faf3bbffa38a upstream.
Fix missed refcounting of IPC tcon used for getting domain-based DFS
root referrals. We want to keep it alive as long as mount is active
and can be refreshed. For standalone DFS root referrals it wouldn't
be a problem as the client ends up having an IPC tcon for both mount
and cache.

If the tlink setup failed, lost to put the connections, then
the module refcnt leak since the cifsd kthread not exit.
Also leak the fscache info, and for next mount with fsc, it will
print the follow errors:
CIFS: Cache volume key already in use (cifs,127.0.0.1:445,TEST)
Let's check the result of tlink setup, and do some cleanup.

Mounting a dfs link that has nested links was already supported at
mount(2), so make it work over reconnect as well.
Make the following case work:
* mount //root/dfs/link /mnt -o ...
- final share: /server/share
* in server settings
- change target folder of /root/dfs/link3 to /server/share2
- change target folder of /root/dfs/link2 to /root/dfs/link3
- change target folder of /root/dfs/link to /root/dfs/link2
* mount -o remount,... /mnt
- refresh all dfs referrals
- mark current connection for failover
- cifs_reconnect() reconnects to root server
- tree_connect()
* checks that /root/dfs/link2 is a link, then chase it
* checks that root/dfs/link3 is a link, then chase it
* finally tree connect to /server/share2
If the mounted share is no longer accessible and a reconnect had been
triggered, the client will retry it from both last referral
path (/root/dfs/link3) and original referral path (/root/dfs/link).
Any new referral paths found while chasing dfs links over reconnect,
it will be updated to TCP_Server_Info::leaf_fullpath, accordingly.

Make two separate functions that handle dfs and non-dfs reconnect
logics since cifs_reconnect() became way too complex to handle both.
While at it, add some documentation.
