e4088d7d8f f2fs: avoid format-overflow warning
commit e0d4e8acb3789c5a8651061fbab62ca24a45c063 upstream.

With gcc and W=1 option, there's a warning like this:

fs/f2fs/compress.c: In function ‘f2fs_init_page_array_cache’:
fs/f2fs/compress.c:1984:47: error: ‘%u’ directive writing between
1 and 7 bytes into a region of size between 5 and 8
[-Werror=format-overflow=]
 1984 |  sprintf(slab_name, "f2fs_page_array_entry-%u:%u", MAJOR(dev),
		MINOR(dev));
      |                                               ^~

String "f2fs_page_array_entry-%u:%u" can up to 35. The first "%u" can up
to 4 and the second "%u" can up to 7, so total size is "24 + 4 + 7 = 35".
slab_name's size should be 35 rather than 32.

982c29e0d2 f2fs: fix to avoid NULL pointer dereference f2fs_write_end_io()
commit d8189834d4348ae608083e1f1f53792cfcc2a9bc upstream.

butt3rflyh4ck reports a bug as below:

When a thread always calls F2FS_IOC_RESIZE_FS to resize fs, if resize fs is
failed, f2fs kernel thread would invoke callback function to update f2fs io

The root cause is below race case can cause leaving dirty metadata
in f2fs after filesystem is remount as ro:

Thread A				Thread B
- f2fs_ioc_resize_fs
 - f2fs_readonly   --- return false
 - f2fs_resize_fs
					- f2fs_remount
					 - write_checkpoint
					 - set f2fs as ro
  - free_segment_range
   - update meta_inode's data

Then, if f2fs_put_super() fails to write_checkpoint due to readonly
status, and meta_inode's dirty data will be writebacked after node_inode
is put, finally, f2fs_write_end_io will access NULL pointer on
sbi->node_inode.

Thread A				IRQ context
- f2fs_put_super
 - write_checkpoint fails
 - iput(node_inode)
 - node_inode = NULL
 - iput(meta_inode)
  - write_inode_now
   - f2fs_write_meta_page
					- f2fs_write_end_io
					 - NODE_MAPPING(sbi)
					 : access NULL pointer on node_inode

During umount(), if cp_error is set, f2fs_wait_on_all_pages() should
not stop waiting all F2FS_WB_CP_DATA pages to be writebacked, otherwise,
fsync_node_num can be non-zero after f2fs_wait_on_all_pages() causing

f901c39e67 f2fs: fix cgroup writeback accounting with fs-layer encryption
commit 844545c51a5b2a524b22a2fe9d0b353b827d24b4 upstream.

When writing a page from an encrypted file that is using
filesystem-layer encryption (not inline encryption), f2fs encrypts the
pagecache page into a bounce page, then writes the bounce page.

It also passes the bounce page to wbc_account_cgroup_owner(). That's
incorrect, because the bounce page is a newly allocated temporary page
that doesn't have the memory cgroup of the original pagecache page.
This makes wbc_account_cgroup_owner() not account the I/O to the owner
of the pagecache page as it should.

Fix this by always passing the pagecache page to
wbc_account_cgroup_owner().

commit 9a5571cff4ffcfc24847df9fd545cc5799ac0ee5 upstream.

When converting an inline directory to a regular one, f2fs is leaking
uninitialized memory to disk because it doesn't initialize the entire
directory block. Fix this by zero-initializing the block.

This bug was introduced by commit 4ec17d688d74 ("f2fs: avoid unneeded

security implications of leaking uninitialized memory to disk.

This was found by running xfstest generic/435 on a KMSAN-enabled kernel.

bb895786a4 f2fs: avoid victim selection from previous victim section

When f2fs chooses GC victim in large section & LFS mode,
next_victim_seg[gc_type] is referenced first. After segment is freed,
next_victim_seg[gc_type] has the next segment number.
However, next_victim_seg[gc_type] still has the last segment number
even after the last segment of section is freed. In this case, when f2fs
chooses a victim for the next GC round, the last segment of previous victim
section is chosen as a victim.

Initialize next_victim_seg[gc_type] to NULL_SEGNO for the last segment in

497d736784 f2fs: fix to account FS_CP_DATA_IO correctly
[ Upstream commit d80afefb17e01aa0c46a8eebc01882e0ebd8b0f6 ]

f2fs_inode_info.cp_task was introduced for FS_CP_DATA_IO accounting
since commit b0af6d491a6b ("f2fs: add app/fs io stat").

However, cp_task usage coverage has been increased due to below
commits:
commit 040d2bb318d1 ("f2fs: fix to avoid deadloop if data_flush is on")
commit 186857c5a14a ("f2fs: fix potential recursive call when enabling data_flush")

So that, if data_flush mountoption is on, when data flush was
triggered from background, the IO from data flush will be accounted
as checkpoint IO type incorrectly.

In order to fix this issue, this patch splits cp_task into two:
a) cp_task: used for IO accounting
b) wb_task: used to avoid deadlock

Fixes: 040d2bb318d1 ("f2fs: fix to avoid deadloop if data_flush is on")

fb1dcc2a9e f2fs: fix race condition on setting FI_NO_EXTENT flag
[ Upstream commit 07725adc55c0a414c10acb5c8c86cea34b95ddef ]

The following scenarios exist.
process A:               process B:
->f2fs_drop_extent_tree  ->f2fs_update_extent_cache_range
                          ->f2fs_update_extent_tree_range
                           ->write_lock
 ->set_inode_flag
                           ->is_inode_flag_set
                           ->__free_extent_tree // Shouldn't
                                                // have been
                                                // cleaned up
                                                // here
  ->write_lock

In this case, the "FI_NO_EXTENT" flag is set between
f2fs_update_extent_tree_range and is_inode_flag_set
by other process. it leads to clearing the whole exten
tree which should not have happened. And we fix it by
move the setting it to the range of write_lock.

If we enable CONFIG_F2FS_CHECK_FS config, it will trigger a kernel panic
instead of warning.

The root cause is: in fuzzed image, SIT table is inconsistent with inode
mapping table, result in triggering such warning during SIT table update.

This patch introduces a new flag DATA_GENERIC_ENHANCE_UPDATE, w/ this
flag, data block recovery flow can check destination blkaddr's validation
in SIT table, and skip f2fs_replace_block() to avoid inconsistent status.

allowed. However, as of now, in case of compress_mode=user, writes
triggered by IOCTLs like F2FS_IOC_DE/COMPRESS_FILE are allowed unexpectly,
which could crash that file.
To fix it, let's do not allow F2FS_IOC_DE/COMPRESS_IOCTL if a file already
has FI_COMPRESS_RELEASED flag.

This is the reproduction process:
1.  $ touch ./file
2.  $ chattr +c ./file

4.  $ dd if=/dev/zero of=./file bs=4096 count=34 seek=30 conv=notrunc

it invokes WARN_ON if blkaddr is not in the right range.
The call trace is as follows:

 f2fs_get_node_info+0x45f/0x1070
 read_node_page+0x577/0x1190
 __get_node_page.part.0+0x9e/0x10e0
 __get_node_page
 f2fs_get_node_page+0x109/0x180
 do_read_inode
 f2fs_iget+0x2a5/0x58b0
 f2fs_fill_super+0x3b39/0x7ca0

Fix these two WARNs by replacing WARN_ON with dump_stack.
