The "switch (cmd)" block from dev_ifsioc() gained a bit too much unnecessary manual handling of "cmd" in the "default" case, starting with the private ioctls. Clean that up by using the "ellipsis" gcc extension, adding separate cases for the rest of the ioctls, and letting the default case only return -EINVAL. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
