Move all stat code specific to akcipher into the akcipher code. While we're at it, change the stats so that bytes and counts are always incremented even in case of error. This allows the reference counting to be removed as we can now increment the counters prior to the operation. After the operation we simply increase the error count if necessary. This is safe as errors can only occur synchronously (or rather, the existing code already ignored asynchronous errors which are only visible to the callback function). In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
