commit 2c29cfc3eaf11779176bf41475cfca49bccba11c upstream. The defio subsystem overwrites the method fb_osp->mmap. That method is stored in module's static data - and that means that if we have multiple diplaylink adapters, they will over write each other's method. In order to avoid interference between multiple adapters, we copy the fb_ops structure to a device-local memory. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
