The RENESAS FemtoClock3 Wireless is a high-performance jitter attenuator, frequency translator, and clock synthesizer. The device is comprised of 3 digital PLLs (DPLL) to track CLKIN inputs and three independent low phase noise fractional output dividers (FOD) that output low phase noise clocks. FemtoClock3 supports one Time Synchronization (Time Sync) channel to enable an external processor to control the phase and frequency of the Time Sync channel and to take phase measurements using the TDC. Intended applications are synchronization using the precision time protocol (PTP) and synchronization with 0.5 Hz and 1 Hz signals from GNSS. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
