Multiple complaints have been raised from the TFO users on the internet stating that the TFO blackhole logic is too aggressive and gets falsely triggered too often. (e.g. https://blog.apnic.net/2021/07/05/tcp-fast-open-not-so-fast/) Considering that most middleboxes no longer drop TFO packets, we decide to disable the blackhole logic by setting /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_fastopen_blackhole_timeout_set to 0 by default. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
