[ Upstream commit e3e61f01d755188cb6c2dcf5a244b9c0937c258e ] If gcc decides not to inline make_sensor_label(): WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text+0x4df549c): Section mismatch in reference from the function .create_device_attrs() to the function .init.text:.make_sensor_label() The function .create_device_attrs() references the function __init .make_sensor_label(). This is often because .create_device_attrs lacks a __init annotation or the annotation of .make_sensor_label is wrong. As .probe() can be called after freeing of __init memory, all __init annotiations in the driver are bogus, and should be removed. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
