tty_read() is supposed to return ssize_t. It takes the return value from iterate_tty_read(). That currently returns int. On the top of that, iterate_tty_write() already returns ssize_t. So switch iterate_tty_read() to ssize_t too, so that all three are consistent. This means 'i' in tty_read() changes its type too. And while changing that, rename this generic 'i' to more dedicated 'ret'. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
