The ttyname buffer for the ledtrig_tty_data struct is allocated in the sysfs ttyname_store() function. This buffer must be released on trigger deactivation. This was missing and is thus a memory leak. While we are at it, the TTY handler in the ledtrig_tty_data struct should also be returned in case of the trigger deactivation call. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
