An event channel should be kept masked when an eoi is pending for it. When being migrated to another cpu it might be unmasked, though. In order to avoid this keep three different flags for each event channel to be able to distinguish "normal" masking/unmasking from eoi related masking/unmasking and temporary masking. The event channel should only be able to generate an interrupt if all flags are cleared. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
