1) inet6_netconf_dump_devconf() can run under RCU protection instead of RTNL. 2) properly return 0 at the end of a dump, avoiding an an extra recvmsg() system call. 3) Do not use inet6_base_seq() anymore, for_each_netdev_dump() has nice properties. Restarting a GETDEVCONF dump if a device has been added/removed or if net->ipv6.dev_addr_genid has changed is moot. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
