commit b13e0c71856817fca67159b11abac350e41289f5 upstream. Commit 309a62fa3a9e ("bio-integrity: bio_integrity_advance must update integrity seed") added code to update the integrity seed value when advancing a bio. However, it failed to take into account that the integrity interval might be larger than the 512-byte block layer sector size. This broke bio splitting on PI devices with 4KB logical blocks. The seed value should be advanced by bio_integrity_intervals() and not the number of sectors. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
