This reverts commit 0d82a0d6f5561af8dea7011d1b7cae510021723e. The commit failed to take into account that the parameter duplication and debugfs for char * parameters were subtly different between i915 core and display, and caused the DMC and PM to be disabled. Moreover, the patch was pushed with failing CI results. Revert, and get back to the drawing board. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
