[ Upstream commit 049a2c2d486e8cc82c5cd79fa479c5b105b109e9 ] Remove the CPU_ALTERNATIVES config option and enable the code unconditionally. The config option was only added to avoid a conflict with the named saved segment support. Since that code is gone there is no reason to keep the CPU_ALTERNATIVES config option. Just enable it unconditionally to also reduce the number of config options and make it less likely that something breaks. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
