[ Upstream commit dff9bc42ab0b2d38c5e90ddd79b238fed5b4c7ad ] The function batadv_gw_node_add is responsible for adding new gw_node to the gateway_list. It is expecting that the caller already checked that there is not already an entry with the same key or not. But the lock for the list is only held when the list is really modified. This could lead to duplicated entries because another context could create an entry with the same key between the check and the list manipulation. The check and the manipulation of the list must therefore be in the same locked code section. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
