SCSI_MOD is a helper config symbol for configuring RAID_ATTRS properly, i.e., RAID_ATTRS needs to be m when SCSI=m. This helper config symbol SCSI_MOD still shows up even in kernel configurations that do not select the block subsystem and where SCSI is not even a configuration option mentioned and selectable. Make this SCSI_MOD depend on BLOCK, so that it only shows up when it is slightly relevant in the kernel configuration. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
