The platform data for the PXAv3 driver allows passing a card detect GPIO, but this code is not used in the kernel. In order to not encourage the use of the old global GPIO numberspace we need to remove this. Card detect (and write protect) GPIO can easily be added into the driver using machine descriptor tables instead, and the descriptor-based (gpiod) variants of the slot GPIO APIs. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
