Since IFLA_ALT_IFNAME is an NLA_STRING, we have no guarantee it is nul terminated. We should use nla_strdup() instead of kstrdup(), since this helper will make sure not accessing out-of-bounds data. several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
