[ Upstream commit e4debea9be7d5db52bc6a565a4c02c3c6560d093 ] The normal path of the function makes the assumption that 'pm_ops->core_power' may be NULL. We should make the same assumption in the error handling path or a NULL pointer dereference may occur. Add the missing test before calling 'pm_ops->core_power' Fixes: 9e8efdb57879 ("media: venus: core: vote for video-mem path") Signed-off-by: Christophe JAILLET <christophe.jaillet@wanadoo.fr> Signed-off-by: Stanimir Varbanov <stanimir.varbanov@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+huawei@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal@kernel.org>
Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
