In ultravisor enabled systems, PTCR becomes ultravisor privileged only for writing and an attempt to write to it will cause a Hypervisor Emulation Assitance interrupt. This patch uses the set_ptcr_when_no_uv() function to restrict PTCR writing to only when ultravisor is disabled. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
