[ Upstream commit 6abc4ca5a28070945e0d68cb4160b309bfbf4b8b ] the switch identifies itself as a BCM53012 (rev 5)... This patch has been tested & verified on OpenWrt's snapshot with Linux 5.10 (didn't test any older kernels). The MR32 is able to "talk to the network" as before with OpenWrt's SWITCHDEV b53 driver. | b53-srab-switch 18007000.ethernet-switch: found switch: BCM53012, rev 5 | libphy: dsa slave smi: probed | b53-srab-switch 18007000.ethernet-switch poe (uninitialized): | PHY [dsa-0.0:00] driver [Generic PHY] (irq=POLL) | b53-srab-switch 18007000.ethernet-switch: Using legacy PHYLIB callbacks. | Please migrate to PHYLINK! | DSA: tree 0 setup Reported-by: Rafał Miłecki <zajec5@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Christian Lamparter <chunkeey@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal@kernel.org>
Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
