bmap returns a dumb LBA address but not the block device that goes with that LBA. Swapfiles don't care about this and will blindly assume that the data volume is the correct blockdev, which is totally bogus for files on the rt subvolume. This results in the swap code doing IOs to arbitrary locations on the data device(!) if the passed in mapping is a realtime file, so just turn off bmap for rt files. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
