Update the docs for __register_sysctl_table() to make it clear no child entries can be passed. When the child is true these are non-leaf entries on the ctl table and sysctl treats these as directories. The point to __register_sysctl_table() is to deal only with directories not part of the ctl table where thay may riside, to be simple and avoid recursion. While at it, hint towards using long on extra1 and extra2 later. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
