commit 4cf478dc5d707e56aefa258c049872eff054a353 upstream. Some variants in this series of UART controllers have GPIO pins that are shared between GPIO and modem control lines. The pin mux mode (GPIO or modem control lines) can be set for each ports (channels) supported by the variant. This adds a property to the device tree to set the GPIO pin mux to modem control lines on selected ports if needed. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
