Passing of the driver version to the firmware is needed for the DDP package to ensure we have the appropriate support in the driver for the features in the package. Lukasz fixes how the firmware version is stored to align with how the firmware stores its own version. Also extended the log message to display additional useful information such as NVM version, API patch information and firmware build hash. Tony adds the needed driver support to check, load and store the DDP package. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
