This patch adds virtio-pmem driver for KVM guest. Guest reads the persistent memory range information from Qemu over VIRTIO and registers it on nvdimm_bus. It also creates a nd_region object with the persistent memory range information so that existing 'nvdimm/pmem' driver can reserve this into system memory map. This way 'virtio-pmem' driver uses existing functionality of pmem driver to register persistent memory compatible for DAX capable filesystems. This also provides function to perform guest flush over VIRTIO from 'pmem' driver when userspace performs flush on DAX memory range. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
