The timer and work item are currently initialized once during module init, but subsequent patches will need to associate different functions with the work item, based on the configured alert mode. Allow subsequent patches to make that change by initializing and de-initializing these objects during tracing enable and disable. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
