commit 1831af092308aa5a59ae61e47494e441c8be6b93 upstream. This reverts commit 0866df8dffd514185bfab0d205db76e4c02cf1e4. The v4l uAPI documentation [0] makes clear that in the case of interlaced video (i.e: field is V4L2_FIELD_ALTERNATE) the height refers to the number of lines in the field and not the number of lines in the full frame (which is twice the field height for interlaced formats). So the original height calculation was correct, and it shouldn't had been changed by the mentioned commit. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
