[ Upstream commit 6be70ccdd989e40af151ce52db5b2d93e97fc9fb ] Unfortunately we have been unable to find a reliable way to detect if and how SW_TABLET_MODE reporting is supported, so we are relying on DMI quirks for this. Add a module-option to specify the SW_TABLET_MODE method so that this can be easily tested without needing to rebuild the kernel. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
