commit ac31c7ff8624409ba3c4901df9237a616c187a5d upstream attach_to_pi_owner() returns -EAGAIN for various cases: - Owner task is exiting - Futex value has changed The caller drops the held locks (hash bucket, mmap_sem) and retries the operation. In case of the owner task exiting this can result in a live lock. As a preparatory step for seperating those cases, provide a distinct return value (EBUSY) for the owner exiting case. No functional change. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
