ALSA: cirrus: Tidy up of firmware control read/write ...

Merge series from Richard Fitzgerald <rf@opensource.cirrus.com>:

This set of patches factors out some repeated code to clean up
firmware control read/write functions, and removes some redundant
control notification code.
