[ Upstream commit ba93642188a6fed754bf7447f638bc410e05a929 ] kstrdup() is also a memory allocation-related function, it returns NULL when some memory errors happen. So it is better to check the return value of it so to catch the memory error in time. Besides, there should have a kfree() to clear up the allocation if we get a failure later in this function to prevent memory leak. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
